Ranjuan Amphawa — Restaurant in Samut Songkhram Province

I had the chance to visit this restaurant and while I had some highlights, there were certain aspects that could be better.

The Duck Soup was a delightful treat - a shining star on the menu that I would wholeheartedly recommend. The Litisch Vodka and Leo Beer served were both commendable, with the beer being served refreshingly cold, which I appreciated.

The continuous service of ice-cold water was a thoughtful touch and made the experience much more comfortable, especially during these hot summer days.

I was a bit disappointed by the Cashew Salad - it seemed to predominantly consist of nuts. We were expecting a more complex dish with a mix of flavors and ingredients. Similarly, the Chicken Cashew was alright, but it didn't stand out in any special way.

One of the key challenges was the language barrier with the waitstaff who were unable to communicate in English, which made the dining experience slightly complicated.

The place was bustling with customers, which is usually a positive sign. And the option for outdoor seating was a plus. However, the arrival of a massive van in the midst of our dining experience was quite disruptive, which was rather unexpected.

In conclusion, while there were enjoyable moments and some nice touches, there are areas where the restaurant could improve. I'm giving this establishment a three-star rating, with the hope that they will take these comments on board to enhance their overall customer experience.

The music is good the food is excellent, I don't have anything to complain. The foods is like it's advertised it feel like granny's cooking. The shrimp with tamarind sauce is quite unique, you can eat the whole thing and it's not a small shrimp it's quite a big one normally the shrimp this size you can't eat the head and the tail but in this case it's edible. The fried rice is done the old way which is getting harder and harder to find. The grilled pork is juicy and sweet which is nice. And every thing else...

Home style cooking in a modern/retro setting. Food tasted truly like your mom's cooking especially what I have ordered on that day(I even ordered a few more dishes to take home), Pineapple chunks curry with prawns. The venue is clean and comfortable with very clean bathrooms. Again, the quality of Amphawa is their good natured people, friendly staff. We parked on the street right in front of the restaurant, not sure if they have a lot provided. Better to check with them...
