To begin with, this restaurant stands out as the top-rated option in the area, prompting us to visit due to its stellar reputation. However, we found the food to be just average in terms of southern Thai flavors, with the crowd seemingly drawn more by its longstanding fame. Unfortunately, the staff lacked proficiency in English, and we discovered that we were overcharged for the tom yum soup, as we ordered a small portion but were billed for a large one. The rice noodle with prawns in claypot was particularly disappointing, as the noodles were soggy and undercooked. Additionally, we encountered a mosquito-infested environment, and only halfway through our meal did they realize that no music was playing and rectified the situation. CAUTION advised during payment. While the spicy thai razor clams, clear tomyum soup and somtam were good, the service was severely lacking. Food was slow to serve and getting the attention of the staffs required waving my hands vigorously

Worst was they tried to shortchange me. When I queried the amount, the waiter said "sorry I thought you gave me a tip."
