Highly recommend coming to this beautiful restaurant, when in the south or passing to go to Koh Lipe!! 🏝️🥥🌿
Beautiful seating areas and a lot of space to enjoy the atmosphere around a fish pond. 🐟 They also have a collection of jeeps and classic cars which make good photo spots and is a lot of fun for kids.
If coming with kids, they have a lot of playing areas or you can feed the fish in the pond and take the kayak to the water!
The food is delicious and fresh, you can see that they take great care in the presentation of the food too! Smoothies are decorated with flowers from the garden and no plate leaves the kitchen without a little bit of extra care.
I would recommend the stir fried squid with squid ink, combined with rice. It makes a sweeter rice with delicious squid bits. 👌🏻 Any curry is delicious (just ask for different spice levels) and of course I would recommend a smoothie with your food! They use regional, seasonal fruits that are sometimes also from the garden. 🍉🍍🥭
The staff and the owners are welcoming, very friendly and attentive.
Always a pleasure to eat here when I travel to the south!
(Sorry for the long review but had to share for everyone who is considering to travel to the south and wonders if there is a nice restaurant to stop by before heading to your final destination)
Catch you on the sunny...

First thing first. Its Halal. We called to inquire and again asked when we were about to order. Need to hear from the source rather than assuming or listing from others.
The Rice @ Larnkao offers an amazing man pool dining experience surrounded by lush greenery and calm waters. The seating area is beautifully set up with both shaded and open-air spots, perfect for relaxing with family or friends. The whole environment feels like a peaceful garden escape.
The menu is extensive, showcasing Satun’s local flavours with fresh seafood and unique dishes you don’t find everywhere. Highlights include the Deep Fried Soft Shell Crabs, Miang Kam Barramundi, and their signature Satun’s Taal Paw Scallops—authentic and packed with flavour. Prices are reasonable considering the freshness and quality, ranging mostly from 200–450 baht.
The staff are friendly and attentive, and the presentation of the food matches the vibrant setting. It’s clear that they put effort into bringing out the best of Satun’s local cuisine.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Satun—whether for a casual lunch or a memorable dinner by the water. Definitely one of the must-try restaurants...
Read moreWe went there around 8pm. The place is not so hard to find bcos it is located just beside the main road to Pakbara. But the place is quiet dark eventhough is just 8pm only. Not so many lighting were made up to light up this place and it is a bit creepy since the atmosphere was dark and sombre. Now the food was so-so. I think being coming from Hatyai, this place not really delicious. People come here to see the ground since they made so many things kids can enjoy but mostly to be enjoyed in daylight not at night time. And there were also so many mosquitoes and lizards around the dining area and the waiter and waitress cant speak english or malay so u need a goole translator to order and all so it makes things get complicated. Imagined we ask for sambal belacan instead they bring us something we dont even know it is. Overall, the place is worth the visit in the day time to enjoy but not at night time and the food was really mediocre and the price was a bit expensive for...
