Panda Shabu แพนด้า ชาบู — Restaurant in Si Sunthon

Worst experience ordering ever. I always order through Grab with NO issues at all, food arrives within 25 mins. I decided to order directly through Panda Shabu on their LINE hoping to maybe better support their business. I ordered the food at 18:35. By 19:15 I still had not received the the order so I called the restaurant, and the woman told us it would arrive in 10 minutes. After another 30 minutes we call back because there is still no sign of our food. The woman who answered the phone found it very amusing that we hadn't received our food and was laughing at us. Long story short, over 2 hours later and we received no food. There were many excuses as to why the driver couldn't make it, but it all stemmed from the fact that this restaurant simply forgot about our order for 45 minutes. If the order was processed at 18.35, there would have been no issues. After over 2 hours, the restaurant was now closed so we ended up having to order at another restaurant and only were able to eat dinner at 21:00 even though we ordered at 18:35. I am very disappointed with this restaurant as they did nothing to compensate us and we order very frequently. This is a place I have recommended to many people and they did absolutely nothing for us! This is not how you retain customers, this is how you LOSE business. I visited SHABU panda recently,on arrival it was very quiet,very pleasant staff,my partner ordered our choice of the extensive menu,then I was free to get up to the all u can eat buffet aswell as ordering more items from the menu on ur phone ( great ),As I’m a fussy eater I noticed they had fries & mini beef burgers,I thought fantastic.. I headed straight for the mini beef burgers ( there was only 3 left ) and got them all,ordered fries etc etc.. Round 2 let’s go,went for more burgers but there wasn’t any so I asked a staff member politely for more,ok no problem she said,15 mins later still there wasn’t any,so asked again,it took another 15 mins before they arrived,bearing in mind it was very quiet,not good. Fantastic restaurant! I was looking for a Shabu dinner with my girlfriend in Phuket (which is not easy to find here). And this one is among the top rated in the area so we decided to give it a try. The food and service here went beyond our expectation. The table was really comfortable and spacious. They also have different menu and price range for you to choose. We went with the standard one at 499 baht/person and it was really great. Aside from the food from the menu, there was also a counter that you can pick your seafood and other shabu toppings that you can pick as many as you want.
