สะหวา (Sawa Restaurant) — Restaurant in Songkhla Province

located nearby Hatyai airport, so it’s very good to have the nice Southern-styled dishes here before getting flight back to Bangkok. This place was recommended by the colleague who visiting Hatyai many times. The name of this restaurant is very unique , and it is the southern sweet fruit with the brown peel, named “La-mudd” and they also have “Sawa drink” available too.

This is Southern Province Thai food and the initial impression was the elegant restaurant in modern Southern style.

Taste was superb, with great quality ingredients. Many dishes are very spicy, especially the yellow chili curry soup with the local fish. If you like to test your tongue & lip endurance, this dish is my suggestion 😗. Another were also great.

Service was fast. The facility was great, light and very, very well kept, more of a fine dine than normal Thai restaurant, let's call it local Thai Southern styled fine dine.

Loved the food. Fried rice was delicious and also the carbonara. I would only not add so much pepper in it but flavour wise was great! The service was ok but didn’t like the fact we were pressured by the lady to choose what to eat 😂 We took our time to choose and despite the fact we were still looking at the menu, she came again asking if we were ready. When we finished our meal the staff was getting the tables ready and no one was looking at us to get us the bill. They should pay a bit more attention to the clients without putting any pressure but with had a positive experience overall. They offered us 10% as we are hotel guests which we didn’t know so that was very nice...

Sawa restaurant is located at Signature hotel in Hatyai. Our room stay was inclusive of daily Breakfast. The dining room is designed with glass and timber with lovely high ceiling. It is very spacious as well with lots of natural lights pouring in during breakfast. There is a very simple breakfast spread served with a nice egg station. Breakfast most of the days are the same so it would be really nice to have a change. Service is good as per most Thailand...
