A Refreshing Culinary Stop Amidst a Long Journey
During my caravan trip from Vietnam through Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, to Singapore, I had the opportunity to dine at a charming restaurant shortly after crossing the Sadao border checkpoint on my way back to Nakhon Si Thammarat. This meal provided a delightful break in our extensive journey.
Situated conveniently along our route, the restaurant offered a welcome respite from the hours spent on the road. The setting was casual yet inviting, with a comfortable atmosphere that immediately made us feel at ease. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and attentive service, enhancing our dining experience.
The menu featured a variety of dishes, showcasing local Thai flavors that tempted our taste buds. We opted for a selection of local specialties, each dish prepared with fresh ingredients that spoke of the region's culinary traditions. The flavors were authentic and hearty, providing a satisfying meal that refueled us for the continued drive.
One of the highlights was the exceptional quality of the food, particularly the standout dish of the day, which was both delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurantâs ability to deliver such high-quality food in a relaxed environment was impressive.
In conclusion, this restaurant is a gem for travelers looking for quality dining options along the road. It combines excellent food with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service, making it a perfect stop during a long trip. I would recommend it to anyone passing through the area, looking for a taste of local cuisine or a quick,...
Read moreOn Wednesday my group of friends went to have lunch at this special authentic Thai Restaurant in Sadao in SONGKHLA province in Thailand. I was amazed by the exotic Thai architecture of the whole restaurant. Despite the slight drizzle, our spirits were not the least dampened by the beauty of the whole place. Itâs such a huge place with many rooms for their diners. Once we entered the restaurant, we could get the fragrance of the Thai food which was being served to the other diners at their tables. We looked through the menu n ordered a variety of authentic Thai dishes. We ordered seafood tomyam, a deep fried fish, a kerabu vegetable, 2 types of stir fry vegetables, fried chicken n fried taufu. The food was really delicious n the tomyam was just yummy cos it was not that spicy. The price of the whole dinner for a total of 16 of us was quite reasonable. We enjoyed our first authentic Thai food in Thailand . After our meal, we toured round the grounds of the restaurant . There were so many different dining rooms . There was even a small pond in the compound . The whole place was beautifully landscaped with many statues n birds as well. There were many old grinding equipment for pounding chillies n other Thai spices being exhibited there. A very good place for a family or friends to gather for an...
Read moreQuite a nice place to eat which is nearby the border. We were here before we crossed the border. The restaurant is located near the main road. Also it has very nice design and landscaping. There are outdoor seatings and indoor ones. Every table seems to be a bit different from each other and each with different views too. Gentle reminder for anyone whoâs coming for dinner to get ready with mosquito repellent/patch or wear suitable attire to avoid mosquito bites during evening.
We ordered green curry, omelette with shrimp and bitter beans cooked with shrimp. I would suggest to order more if you usually eat more as the portion of food is just enough. The green curry tastes good, though the chicken seems little as the more bony part is used. The omelette is large and contains much egg floss. The bitter beans are very well cooked with the sambal.
The price of food here is still being reasonable provided the shop is known for its beautiful designs and lake view. The staff are very helpful and easy to communicate. Ample of parking space is provided right in front of...
