Sea Bass Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Songkhla Province

Just now I took some friends over here for a Thai seafood dinner. The place is very impressive with a fantastic sea view. We can hear the waves n feel the cool refreshing sea breeze s we are enjoying our dinner. It makes us feel the romance n experience the relaxing n soothing ambience . We ordered mainly seafood n seafood Thai tomyam soup as well. We also included 3 types of local stir fry vegetables as well as a dish of mango kerabu. While eating our dinner, we enjoyed listening to a singer crooning some melodious n sentimental Thai songs. We really had a great time eating fresh seafood near the sea where the sea breeze never stop blowing n carrying the melodious voice of the singer . Service is good. Ambience is above average. But food could be better. The prices for the seafood is expensive. Grilled “prawn” cost 680 baht - it’s actually more like a baby lobster. But the rest of the items are reasonably priced. Caveat - the staff did tell us the price upfront and how much it would cost for a dish of grill prawn in total but just don’t underestimate how the total cost can...

As with most places in Songkhla / HatYai, the prices are very affordable. The food we ordered was excellent! Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to go back. One other comment - the restaurant offers bottle service if you choose to bring your own wine. Please, please Sea Bass - do not EVER put an expensive bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon on ice! I know it's hot outside, but...
