I guess this place would do if you really need your Japanese food. I'm leaving one star only for the courteous wait staff who were super nice and helpful.
(1) This is the first japanese restaurant anywhere I've eaten that doesn't have green tea (hot or cold) or soy sauce (they had very sugary, brown syrup instead which actually spoiled the flavours rather than enhanced them).
(2) Edamames were served frozen, probably straight from the freezer. When we peeled them from the pods, there were still blocks of ice clinging to most of them.
(3) Pretty much all the food tasted insufficiently thawed and served in a hurry. The gyozas were greasy on the outside and uncooked in the inside, and the seaweed salad had a horrible artificial neon colour and overpoweringly...
