The most delicious shrimp I've had anywhere in Thailand or in the world. I expected Kung Pen to be good; famous celebrities and important politicians drive from Bangkok to Sam Chuk to eat at this restaurant. But it surpassed my expectations. Try the spicy Tom Yung Kung (of course), the massive grilled prawns (don't forget to eat the braaaaaaains), or – my favorite – the salt-fried shrimp (กุ้งทอดเกลือ). Aroi maaaaaak.

I was told during the week season and they will go through 500 kg of shrimp in a single day!
