Really weird experience. First of all, we didn't feel welcomed at all. Sevice is weird, or not really there. Grab your own menu, come back to the bar/cashier when you are ready, prepay for the order!!! Fist time I had to do it in Thailand ever... and there is a tip box there )) like even before you get the drink or food, or any kind of service... just doesn't make sense. Nobody smiles or welcomes you... Now the food. Coffee is not great, just ok. Flat white was steaming hot ♨️, they just decided to kill the milk and flavor)) beans are so so, no complexity at all, the finish is short or non-existent, a bit on the burnt side too bitter. Not a specialty coffee at all. Again all in comparison with other places around on the island. Avocado toast was well bellow average, especially for the price. Just 1 egg, Avocado spread was bland the bread also not great. Will not recommend or come back! Go to Bubba...

I recently visited Balance Specialty Coffee and wanted to share my thoughts on my experience. The cafe has a really impressive modern design with great use of color palettes that caught my eye. It's in a great location that is quiet and peaceful, which made it a perfect spot to enjoy my coffee without any distractions.

Speaking of coffee, they offer a range of different styles and all of them were awesome. It's clear that they take their coffee seriously and strive to provide a high-quality product. The staff was also really friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience.

Overall, I had a great time at Balance Specialty Coffee and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great cafe experience. The combination of the impressive design, quality coffee, and friendly staff made it a standout experience that I won't...

Probably the best coffee I've had in KP in 5 months, and I've been to all cafes that offer speciality coffee. 😍 Really flavorful and balanced taste.

The place is right next to the forest, in a beautiful garden in the back of the owner's house. Very homey vibe.

Not the best for work because the tables are small, but WiFi was fast so I got some things done on my iPad while enjoying the greenery around. There's no air conditioned areas so it gets hot during the day. Morning is perfect though.

The croissant I tried was a bit stale, maybe it wasn't baked the same day or just got exposed to some humidity. I'd love some more snack options that are healthy too, maybe some bliss balls or granola bars etc.

I'll come...

Cappuccino, Hot, Oat Milk 10/10 ⭐️Star Menu Item⭐️ “Smooth as f” - direct quote from my girlfriend. Thai Milk Tea (semi-sweet) 9/10 Only a 9 because I had one yesterday that I think I liked a little more, but I would maybe have to blind taste test it. Avocado Toast 9/10 Not the most flavourful feta ever but outside of that it was delicious. Croissant 10/10 Warm, buttery and just nice. Service 10/10 Super friendly, super quick. Location & Atmosphere 10/10 Very quite side street but super easy to get to. Relaxed, chill vibes with elevator music. Sit outside to enjoy the water and nature. 545 THB for 1 main, 1 croissant, 4 extra eggs & 2 drinks

Warm and welcoming staff. Location is somewhat out of the way but that means it’s quiet and peaceful and is really nice to sit outside facing their pond and water feature. Coffee was just the way I like it i.e. not too bitter. The hollandaise sauce looked like it split but it tasted fine and was better than other attempts I’ve had on Ko Phangan. Given the eggs were nicely poached and the bread was good, I’m not even going to drop a star for it. I also had a wake up juice (orange and watermelon) which was tasty. I’ll be adding this to my list wherever I come back to Ko Phangan and will recommend it to friends if the holiday here in the future.
