Bang Kao Seagrill Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Dear Travelers, if you are near Bophot in Koh Samui, the Bang Kao Seagrill Bar is a "must visit location"! We had wonderful home cooked Thai food, wich tasted very good, even for smaller children they have the usual non Thai food opportunities. Mostly we liked the great view with all the details.... Lights, signs the palms, trees with possibilities to sit outside on the beach or inside with also georgious view and ambiente. We sat all night with Ou, the very nice and welcoming and pet loving owner with his cats dogs, whom you can pet.

Nice family owned restaurant directly by the beach with a small harbor for local fishermen... the nice lady who runs the place, speaks very good English, too! So, really friendly staff, very good original Thai food, absolutely affordable. As regulars, we get surprised by various local dishes every night... can’t do anything wrong with this beautiful restaurant/bar. Come at sunset - clean beaches with coconut trees! From the parking - go right at the beach! Its the second bar, not the first at...

What a find this was. We discovered this place due to seeing an advert for their reggae festival. It’s just perfect. A really chilled bar on the beach. 420 friendly. On a Saturday they have a Thai street market. They also have a large menu of other food. We visit at least 3 times a week. Totally off the beaten track away from the craziness of high season in samui. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed. Lorenzo is a great host. We can’t rave enough...
