Kitchen Guilin — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Excellent location. You get a view of the lake and National Park and the damn from here that is superb. The food is very good. The only negative was that they were going to play really loud music but I and another table told them to please not to and they didn't. I guess another thing that might bother some people is there's a significant amount of mosquitoes after the sun goes down. But the staff will bring a mosquito smoker to the table that you can put down by your feet that seemed to help a little bit at least for my legs. It wasn't that bad. But the mosquitoes are pretty big :-). The food was better than basic Thai style and the location was exceptional and restaurant was clean. Thus my four star. This restaurant is in one of the best spots in Thailand, overlooking the dam with scenic views as far as the eye can see. Sadly I can't say the same for the dining experience, which is a shame because the facilities are great.

Indoor and outdoor seating options, beautiful garden views and an expansive open layout. Plenty of menu options with local dishes, however the food quality was average. The bottled beer was stale and staff seemed disorganized on the floor.

Poor service, it takes them an hour to cook a scrambled fried egg. Actually, we never actually got the scrambled fried egg.
