Mama Pasta Bistro Krungthep Kreetha — Restaurant in Thap Chang Subdistrict

We recently visited this cozy, homey Italian restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience overall. We ordered seafood pesto, spaghetti aglio e olio with bacon and sausage, pork escalope, and tender chicken as a snack for our baby.

The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the pasta was perfectly al dente. The pesto had a light touch of cream, which complemented the basil without overpowering it. My favourite was the spaghetti aglio e olio—it was packed with flavour, well-seasoned, and had just the right hint of spice.

The only downside was the tender chicken, which was a bit dry and overcooked. However, the positives far outweighed this minor issue, and we enjoyed our time at the restaurant. Definitely looking forward to...

Cozy and charming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing dinner. The interior is beautifully decorated, and the music really matches the vibe of the place.

I tried the truffle mushroom pasta and the spaghetti with meatballs—both were delicious and served quickly.

However, I’d like to point out one thing. The staff member who took our order and handled the bill didn’t seem very friendly. No smile, no warm welcome, which felt a bit off considering there's a 10% service charge. Good service is one of the keys to success for any restaurant.

Overall, I enjoyed the food and the ambiance. I hope to see improvements in customer service next time.

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Can speak English and lots of vegetarian options in most of the menu. Ordered spaghetti, salad and pizza. All vegetarian and delicious. Happy with the food and will come again. Wine available and many meat options available to those who want.
