🛬 Our visit to 747 Cafe was an unforgettable experience, offering a unique opportunity to explore a real Boeing 747 while enjoying dessert and drinks. The concept is one-of-a-kind, and it’s a must-visit for aviation enthusiasts and families alike. Walking through the massive aircraft and seeing it repurposed as a cafe was fascinating, and it gave us a whole new appreciation for the size and design of these planes.
One of the highlights for our children was sitting in the cockpit, where they got to imagine themselves as pilots. Our boy was thrilled to take the captain’s seat, while our girl loved exploring every corner of the plane, from the aisles to the hidden details in the cabin. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient, making sure the kids had a great time while answering our questions about the aircraft.
The cafe itself serves a variety of desserts and drinks, which were simple yet satisfying. Enjoying a treat inside the cabin of a 747 was a surreal experience that added to the charm of the visit. The interior still retains many original features of the plane, blending nostalgia with novelty.
747 Cafe is not just a place to grab a snack—it’s an adventure in itself. Whether you’re an aviation fan or just looking for a unique outing, this spot offers a fun and memorable experience for the whole family. We left with smiles on our faces and plenty of photos to remember this...

But to go inside, you'll have to pay a 120THB fee per person to enter, and you'll get to select a free drink of choice inside. The drinks aren't that good, to be honest. I ordered an iced cocoa, and it tasted like regular milk mixed with chocolate syrup, not an actual iced cocoa. The main highlight inside is the cockpit in the second floor. Everything is authentic from an actual 747, but sadly most of the buttons don't seem to work, which I understand. The interior is mainly quite disorganized and dirty in some spots, but I don't think most people would mind. This plane is a partly scrapped Orient Airlines Boeing 747, probably manufactured in around 1991. The airline ceased operations since 2018, but you may go to Wikipedia to learn more. If you go outside, there's a staircase for you to go into one of the engines (literally, it's hollow, don't worry); it makes up for a great photo taking spot. The plane is located next to some kind of river, and it's only about 20 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport, making it an ideal place to go before your flight. In conclusion, don't come here if you want the drinks, come here for the photos and view. (Sorry for such a long review, I hope you find...

This is as close as you can get to being on a private jet without taking off!
Just to see and be in the Boeing 747 is surreal!
You can climb up to the double decker portion and experience the cockpit.
The Cafe which serves coffee, cakes etc is a decent place to relax and chill.
The entire ambience of the structure which is duly air conditioned will make you want to come and experience it again.
I enjoyed my iced coffee on the plush seat in the upper deck, and for a moment felt that I was actually flying high above the clouds.
The morning visit was less crowded but as I left I could see scores of passengers arriving to board the 747.
As it is located near the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, you can hear and see several planes flying overhead and this adds to the charm of the place.
I hope they will maintain the standards I experienced in February 9, 2025.
Don’t wait….board...
