Turn Back Time (Indian Cuisine) — Restaurant in Trang Province

This is an Indian restaurant located in a village a bit outside the city. The place is decorated in a traditional Indian style, giving it a nice, authentic feel.

I ordered a Masala Chai, which was served hot along with a pot of hot tea. It tasted good, though I noticed they might have adjusted the recipe to use fewer spices compared to when they first opened. It was still enjoyable, even if I personally prefer a bit stronger tea and spice flavor.

For a snack, I tried the Paripuni, which came with three dipping sauces—tamarind, mint, and yogurt. My favorite was the tamarind, followed by the mint, and then the yogurt.

For the main course, I had the Chicken Biryani Set with naan and a selection of curries. The food was good and quite filling. I did feel a bit heavy at the end, but having the Achar (Indian pickle) and hot tea helped balance it out.

Overall, it was a pleasant meal in a nice setting. I’d be happy to come back again and introduce it...

It was my first time having Indian food in a long long time. At first, I didn't expect much. It turned out to be so much better than what I expected. The food was amazing. It was literally perfect. Sorry for the 4 stars and 3 stars for the atmosphere and service. All the staff members were incredibly fantastic but I wish they have a full service where the servers take our orders at the table and not at the counter like a regular cafe. The atmosphere was not the best at the time I went because of the construction outside. But I'm sure they were working on renovating the place which is understandable. Overall, everything was great. I would totally revisit. Definitely the best Indian food...
