Not really sure why this place is empty most of the time. Maybe because it doesn't look fancy? The food is the most authentic we got on this Island, the owners are very friendly. I've seen another review about aggressive dogs but I don't think it's true. During our two visits (one at lunch, one for dinner) we saw two dogs that were friendly however they didn't even show interest in us at all. Extraordinary restaurant, recommended to me by my hosts. Been there three times, tried as much as I could. Every single dish was prepared with care, love and knowledge – wonderfully balanced and distinct flavours, perfect use of herbs, very fresh and as spicy as it should be; vegetables, meat and fish were always on point. Was some surprise to found the restaurant inside the island. It is very clean, the owners very friedly, the food amazing and the prices cheap. After the first food we came back again. We eat in our visits papaya salat, fried chicken with basil, jungle curry, pad thai, peanut curry. As desert we orderes fried banana and banana in coconut milk - very delicious.
