Fishermen’s Hut — Restaurant in Trat Province

While exploring Koh Chang we saw signs for a view point. Parked our car and followed the foot prints on the path through some fishing homes. Was greeted by a couple of children saying hello through a window before emerging on a fantastic vista. We first sat on the bar stools before moving out onto the decking area over the water where the views are amazing. You can see the mangrove forest to the left, the sea and islands in front, and behind the mountains of koh chang. Ideal spot to stop while going round the island. Staff extremely polite and helpful. The staff made too many mistakes . We ordered 4 dishes. One was not brought but they didn’t forget to put in the bill. Another was different dish. Third was different fish than we asked. This place is located in a small authentic Thai village. We had to walk along different local huts to get there. Once we've arrived, we got treated with a beautiful view at the end or a small pier.
