Modern Vietnamese restaurant. It was crowded when I visited for lunch, so it seems quite popular. I ordered a noodle fish soup with Vietnamese pork sausage and a plum frappe. The latter was very salty because it was in fact made out of pickled plum, which I didn’t know since the English menu only stated « plum »! I asked if it was possible to change for watermelon instead and they accepted. It was very tasty this time! Only problem is that they tried to make me pay for both and I had to explain the issue all over again (but in the end I only paid for the one I drank - watermelon - so that’s ok). Concerning the noodle soup, the broth was very fragrant and I loved it. Quantity was also small for the price but I have to admit that I was surprised to not be that hungry after. I guess it was actually filling! I should probably give this place another chance, as I think I might have had bad luck...

The Crispy Crepe is also impressive but the one that shouldn’t be missed at all is their ice-cream. The coconut milk and sticky rice is our preference to their famous sesame ones; the texture of the rice and the richness of the flavor is well above standard. Wall deco is interesting to take a...
Read moreThis is a new restaurant in Ubon selling mostly western food and a little Thai food. The pizza we had was great and definitely comparable to the Italian place in town, although considerably cheaper. One little pet peeve I have with how pizzas are done here is that the bases are made from pastry, not dough. Thankfully the toppings were generous so it didn't effect the taste so much. I would definitely come...
