What a gem this place is. Someone said it reminded him of the best of Luang Prabang. Yes it is a café with beautiful furniture and views of the Mekong but that is just the beginning. They have displays of traditional textile making and a textile museum. It's just 20 baht to enter the museum or 300 baht for a guided tour. They do sell traditional textile products and apparently people come to buy those from all over Thailand. It is part of the Tohsang Heritage resort complex who feature their products and there are also homestay bungalows with private pools that are in high demand We just drank our coffee with a beautiful view of the Mekong near the 2 colour rivers and wandered around to look at the displays. It is popular to visitors because they showcase the traditional techniques of cotton dyeing, traditional weaving, playing traditional musics, etc. Inside the cafe, it is decorated with traditional utensils, objects, cloths and, etc. They also sell traditional products as well. During my visit, I ordered iced-coffee but they took longer times than expected despite less volume of visitors. The taste was average. They also sell cakes and other foods but of limited choices.
