Prime Steakhouse — Restaurant in Udon Thani Province

Our first visit to the Prime Steakhouse. It was well worth the short journey from Nong Khai. Although we arrived on the first day of Sang Kran about 2:30 pm. We were greeted by the chef as the rest of the staff were taking a little break. The steak I had was the best steak I've eaten in Thailand in my 7 years of residency. Curious about the Italian sausages, I ordered two for tasting purposes. They are outstanding and the chef is also the butcher that makes them. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was filled with a lot of peace. will be going back now on a regular basis and ordering the sausages by the kilo to take away. Thank you Prime.. Terrible, I ordered medium steak, my partner wanted a couple more minutes, couldn’t find waiter, he was on his phone, partner ordered same. My food arrived, steak was rare, a handful of cold chips, side dish of mashed potatoes was cold. Partners steak eventually arrived, it was less than rare, potatoes taken back to be reheated, then steaks taken back, side order of fries had been reheated and inedible. Mashed potatoes came back but no sign of steaks. Eventually after waiting several minutes, potatoes now old again, we gave up, paid for our drinks and left. There was only one other table. The food is really good. Job well done to the chef. The plate presentation is really amazing and very professional. Then, I really like the place tha ambiance is cool and fresh not too bright and not too dark. Everything is in place. They also have free WIFI which gives more convenience to the customer while waiting for their food. The price depends on what you will get but I totally reccomend to grab their "beef steak" or "chicken cordon bleu".
