The Country Grill — Restaurant in Udon Thani Province

Iv been in Udon Thani For A Week and Have Ate here 3x Already. After 8 years of visiting Thailand I honestly think this place might be in the Top 5 in all my Travels. The Owner is Very Nice and The Head Chef is A wonderful person and Amazingly Skilled Chef who continues to work on her Craft Taking Cooking Class's Every Monday! So many things iv wanted to Try because the menu is incredible! So Far iv had the lobster bisque, Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Wings, Grilled Pork Neck, Som Tum Corn Salad, Peking Duck Pancakes and Beef Fajitas... what else... and a beautiful seafood yellow curry. Big selection of Thai and Craft Beers with Smoothies, Thai Tea's and also awesome dessert menu. What more can be said. It would take me a month to taste the entire menu. Can't wait to come back to this chill city, train a bunch of Muay Thai and reward myself at the Country Grill! Thank you so much! Wish I took more pictures but I was enjoying it too much! ...

I'm happy that they have returned from their travels. Saturday night bbq is on my routine again.

While I was traveling a new look was introduced. The owner is a design genius. Everything coordinates including the massive menu.

Amazing menu. Nachos were ok. Service was great. Nok speaks English very well. I'll be back. I've tried Sunday roast at three restaurants. The Country Grill is the best. Western-style restaurants with a lot of menus from different cuisines; including of Western European (mostly French), Mexican (like Tacos and Quesadilla), and British Indian (like Butter Chicken).

Every dish is well-prepared and delish. Some dished take a few more time to prepare, i.e. Beef Wellington. They also come in a big portion, very good for family or a group of friends.

Recommendations Soups = They all are Pot Pie. I suggest Mushroom Cream Soup, a heart-warming cream-based mushroom soup with a nice touch of Truffle, and Lobster Bisque, a sweet-and-sour lobster cream soup with some shrimp chunks. Beef Stroganoff = A pasta dish with beef creamy sauce, well-balanced in salty, fatty, creamy, and sweet. Beef Wellington = A beef pie with great Duxelles and gravy.
