Factory Grill & Pizza — Restaurant in Lomé

I went with my friends yesterday for a goodbye party, and I honestly couldn't leave without writing a review.

The only thing I really liked was the ambiance — it had a nice, cool vibe. However, the rest of the experience left a lot to be desired.

First, I asked for the Wi-Fi. They did have it, but refused to give me the password because it "wasn't strong enough." That made no sense — just let me try it. Even a weak signal could’ve helped me send a quick message to my family.

We were a group of 10 and ordered some tapas and main dishes. We waited literally an hour for the tapas alone, and another 10–15 minutes for the main plates to arrive. That’s simply too long, especially when you're with a large group.

As for the food — I found it a bit overpriced, and personally, I didn’t enjoy it much. To be fair, I wasn’t the one who chose the restaurant. I would have preferred to eat local Togolese food rather than European cuisine while in Africa.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place — especially if you value reasonable wait times or want to experience...

In English: I have to critique the food because it was truly terrible. Personally, I didn't enjoy the majority of the items we ordered. The brochette was tiny but tasty, and the carbonara was okay, though it arrived cold. However, aside from these two orders, everything else was really bad. Please, consider adding seasonings to your dishes. How can chicken wings be so bland? There was no taste at all – I couldn't even detect salt. The calamari was dry, hard, and bland. I genuinely don't think the prices match the quality of the food. Please, think about how to make the food flavorful and representative of the local palate.

The service, in general, was good, but I believe having someone upfront to guide guests to their seats would be better. When we arrived, I had to search for someone to ask for a table, which isn't welcoming.

On the positive side, the atmosphere was definitely good, making it a really nice place.

En français: Je dois critiquer la nourriture car elle était vraiment terrible. Personnellement, je n'ai pas apprécié la majorité des plats que nous avons commandés. La brochette était petite mais savoureuse, et la carbonara était correcte, bien qu'elle soit arrivée froide. Cependant, à part ces deux commandes, tout le reste était vraiment mauvais. S'il vous plaît, envisagez d'ajouter des assaisonnements à vos plats. Comment des ailes de poulet peuvent-elles être si fades ? Il n'y avait aucun goût du tout - je ne pouvais même pas détecter le sel. Le calmar était sec, dur et fade. Je ne pense sincèrement pas que les prix correspondent à la qualité de la nourriture. S'il vous plaît, réfléchissez à la manière de rendre la nourriture savoureuse et représentative du palais local.

Le service, en général, était bon, mais je pense qu'avoir quelqu'un à l'accueil pour guider les clients vers leurs places serait mieux. Quand nous sommes arrivés, j'ai dû chercher quelqu'un pour demander une table, ce qui n'est pas accueillant.

Du côté positif, l'atmosphère était certainement bonne, en faisant un endroit...
