La Bruschetta - Lomé — Restaurant in Lomé

My experience was not that great. So during our visit, my friend and I (obviously foreigners) decided to have dinner here. The night was going well till it was time to pay. My bank was giving us a slight hiccup (which we are very much used to). When this happened, the restaurant’s POS notified and we sought to rectify it. The treatment we received all through trying to sort it out was totally unnecessary. They went to the extent of taking our phone and going through our transaction history when we CLEARLY told them it was a bank issue we are aware of until they give us back our phone to repay. If this is how customers are treated then it is an ugly experience for such a beautiful venue. The short Asian looking lady wasn’t welcoming in the least bit and we felt they invaded our privacy and to an extent humiliated us with their back and forth. When we clearly asked they gave us our phone to issue a repayment, mind you all this while we were speaking to the customer care to ascertain this. Food was still...

I have eaten here on several occasions and the food has always been delicious. Each time we received a warm welcome by the hostess and the service is good. Their prices are a bit high, but you're paying not just for the food but the venue and location. My new favorite restaurant in Lomé! The Crespolini, Truffle Fries, Raviolis, Risotto were all very good, but the highlight of the meal was, most assuredly, the Panna Cotta.
