So, I didn't go to the "D Cabin" at this location but I know it's a family own business and each outlet is an extension of the original which I believe is located in Rousillac. I've had a variety of foods from the outlet at Rousillac and it's very delicious. The meats, from shrimp, chicken, beef patties and shark(not sure they still do shark and bake) are well seasoned. "Plenty flavor". At this location in Couva (right off the roundabout) there is a wide variety of different food stalls. Gyros, doubles, pies, dessert, Chinese food, roti, market but soup's/ punch and souse. I don't know which stalls are Halaal.. I just wanted doubles 🤷‍♀️ Cushion like barras at D Boss doubles, need salt and pepper needs to be hotter. Ohhhh and Eclipse Desserts... Best chocolate mousse cake EVER and the carrot cake, yummy.

UPDATE: So I had a chance to chat with staff at The Cabin. You can get up sized fries for $5.00 extra. You can also request what pieces of chicken you want to eat as well. What is noteworthy is the fact that the portions are very generous. The wait time for service is short and staff are courteous. The food and service are excellent. The meat is well seasoned and cooked. The fries are to die for. The Cabin has an extensive menu to cater to most pallets. They offer meal specials along with an array of delicious sauces. Trini pepper sauce different, but if you are into it, they have it and it's hot. I highly recommend their food.

I ordered an 8 piece and fries and the pieces were tiny. Definitely not worth the $135 I paid. The fries were cold and the chicken was dry. Definitely not a nice experience the attendants weren't even bothered. Thoroughly disappointed since we only realized that the chicken was tiny after getting back home in the East. Definitely was not worth the trip to Couva.

The food can get 4 stars. When you go to order they are always on the phone and you would have to repeat you order three times before they get it while the person placing an order on the phone only has to say it once so I'm guessing it's better to place an order over the phone than in person. You order 2 5 pieces and 2 large box of fries and given 5 containers for condiments ps originally they gave me three I asked for additional and they only gave me two more. Like make that make sense. The math ain't mathing. Everytime I go for condiments they are always out of something like does anyone check up on those? Do the customer gets a discount for doing y'all work? Two times I went to the establishment and both times I had to take two bottles to the counter and return them as well because they were empty. Do y'all ever consider some individual do not eat spicy food? Lastly I don't mind that there is a rule with particular pieces of chicken for each combination. First time I bought a three piece and asked for my mostly thighs and in was carried out. Secondly time I asked for mostly thighs if possible that time they absolutely didn't care. Gotten 2 thighs, 2 legs, 2 wings and 4 breast. I'm sure others would have love to exchange the thigh for a breast instead. Would I ever go to this establishment...
