Trini Food Fantasy — Restaurant in Point Fortin

We came here breakfast time and they had a good assortment: bake, roti, cassava, shark, potato curry, chicken, saltfish.. just to name a few. I had some buss up shut, steam fish, and plantains. All were excellent -- great flavor and juices on the fish, great texture on the plantains, and very generous portions. You can get whatever you want on your plate; there's no set menu. Service and energy were good. They have covered patio seating and a little bit of indoor seating....

Purchased breakfast with mauby recently here and while I enjoyed the food and service was friendly, I was disappointed for two reasons. First I requested my bake to be packed separately from my meat but they neglected to tell me the price would increase by $15 to do this. Then when I tasted the mauby it had an old rancid taste like it was there from the day before. While the food is good, I’d be careful next time I order...

I bought a roti. It was overpriced for the little food you received. The food was so little they could fit a whole overstuffed dry dhalpourie in the same box. The little bit of food soak up in the roti. Who does do this? Where alyuh learn to make and serve roti? A simple thing like roti you can't do properly when it have a dozen roti shops as an example. No pepper was offered and the curry chicken didn't even taste like...
