Brgrs n Wngs — Restaurant in Trinidad

I ordered 2 pounds of wings and fries plus 2 chicken sandwiches and it was all burnt, also the prices were all changed from my last visit, Now you have to pay for fries additional to the small portion of wings they call a pound(lb) .This was the worst experience this far I had after being a loyal customer. I messaged them on whatsapp sharing my horrible experience with them and they decided to read it and not reply, several days have gone by since and no courtesy what so ever from Brgs and wings!!! I spend $400 in food from here that night and recommended it to family and friends and was disappointed with the food we got! The service was horrible, waited more than an hour for the food then got all our wings burnt and small portions as well as the chicken in my sandwiches were also cold and not up to standard. I honestly expected better from brgs and wings as Ive always supported them since they opened. Visited Central's new offering #boxyardtt just off the Munroe Road Flyover after seeing it on social media with its host of food options and kid friendly area. One of the food vendors was one i wanted to try but never had the option to due to odd location and poor parking (which still exists at the new location as well and is possibly subjected to change with the coming months i hope). Ordered a double pattied burger combo ($95) MEDIUM done from Brgrs n Wngs and an oriental bowl @sumwok. Service was great and access to the entertainment area, which currently consists of two projector interactive game screens and 2 pool tables along with seating, was free "for now"and due to change when the area is fully upgraded. Onto the food; #brgrsnwngs the burger was a bit underwhelming as once again, very few ppl understand the concept of "medium" done and the fries bland (once u go seasoned, u never go back). Just the second time I’ve visited since early on from opening day. Had the fried chicken sandwich with cassava fries. Must say the price of the portion of cassava fries was a bit high but maybe these are much more pricey than regular potato ones. The sandwich was delicious. Soft bun. Enough dressing that was not watery or causing soggy bread. Served with sweet onions and lettuce. The chicken batter was spicy though, and I think they should have warned you about it. I like that there is someone to greet you and help you with your decision making process. The parking is good and the area is well maintained and very clean with seating available. Music is great. It was not crowded when we visited for a Saturday so the wait time was suitable for food to be prepared. Not sure what it’s like when crowded. I would definitely visit again.
