This restaurant is great! My wife and I visit frequently since all proceeds go towards a good cause and the price for what you get is a good value. Hey you are getting a chance to donate to a NGO while getting a wonderful all you can eat meal. The food is very tasty and the ambience is peaceful. The staff are friendly and the seating is not cramped. The location is a bit rural but then again this is the site of an ashram so you can understand and appreciate the quiet settings. Plenty of parking as long as the ashram doesn't have a function. The food options are adequate for vegetarians. You get naan and paneer along with numerous other dishes which to me is worth the drive. This restaurant is pure vegetarian food so don't expect actual meat. You will get meat substitutes which taste better than actual meat sometimes 😏. I strongly recommend that you give this place a try. Remember it's not a five 🌟 restaurant but you will be surprised at how well done it is when you consider the price. I paid $100 per person as of 2018. Two thumbs up to...
Read moreMy meal was described as 'peanut thai curry' served with Jasmine rice. I took fried rice instead of the jasmine rice and I was glad I did. The rice was okay. The 'curry' was a mix of vegetables and what seemed like steamed dumplings in a peanut sauce. The taste of raw garlic was heavy. There were onion chunks in everything. Not a tasty dish. $70. My parents took vegetable noodles and tofu and paneer. Also loaded with raw onions and not very tasty. $30. per meal x 2. The samosas had way too much potato and the potatoes were not thoroughly crushed. $25. for 3. The chataignie was over fried. Tough to chew. $7. each. The urdi bara was okay. $5. x 1. The most part of an over-fried baiganiee was tossed. $7. x 1. The dosa with potato and paneer was bland but most of it was eaten. Not satisfied with the taste. $35. The rasgulla was to our liking. $5. each x 2 The pineapple juice was refreshing. $8. per glass x 3. We will not be going...
