I have been a customer of this establishment since they were in Matilda Junction , Princes Town. We may not be regulars but we have supported them throughout the years. However, after today, my family and I will not return to this establishment.
On or around 12 midday on 4th June I proceeded to my vehicle only to realise vehicle PDT 1878, a white Honda CRV parked directly behind me and another vehicle. I enquired around and eventually found the driver of the vehicle, namely, Dr. Ravi commonly called Mr. Melon. Firstly his staff member informed me he was offloading stuff and I need to give him a few minutes. I said No, I need to move now as I had an emergency, thinking to myself there were no signs of him offloading anything.
On arrival to his vehicle we had a brief conversation which escalated after he raised his voice to me and in a hostile tone he stated “The gym car park is outside, here is my reserved spot for parking! Ask the gym owners, the gym members have to park outside!”
In response to this I stated “Okay, tell me this on video so I can bring it to the Landlord attention!” Once I opted to take a video he stated “no it isnt reserved”. However he was still persistent telling me I cannot park there to use the gym I have to park outside!” He further went on to ask me if he I was okay and started talking about having bad days.
I enquired from management of the building and was informed all tenants and customers/clients can park anywhere.
With all this said, this issue is trivial but I will never support a business with that sort of attitude as I can state with a degree of certainty that this isnt the first time Mr. Melon behaved in that manner towards persons.
In addition to what was stated, Id like to respond to his video that he posted on tik tok! Sir, I have been to your establishment many occasions in-fact the last time I went there met one my sister’s friend there , she is an employee! Id post the bank transaction!
Further please be guided accordingly read Chapter 11:16 ! Defamation and libel! Id be seeking redress within the realms of the law as clearly you are stating things that are untrue! Show the highway plaza video footage, so everyone can see how long you took before you moved the car. Nothing was being offloaded!
And Im perfectly fine so stop defaming my name in an attempt to be wrong and strong!!!
Further under one comment on tik tok youre saying I was at the gym, you dont know me, and youre stating I never step foot in your establishment but yet youre stating I went to the gym!!! I told you I went to the gym! Remember I told you I frequent the gym and that is why I enquired if the park was reserved for you and you lied and stated yes!
When you asked someone to ask me to remove the post, I told them I would have removed it had you apologised immediately but instead youre here being wrong and strong and defaming my name
I did not shout at you , I simply told you I know both you and Stephanie are doctors and Ive supported your business since yall were on Matilda Junction!
Update: After two weeks Mr Melon went to the Freeport Police Station im relation to this review and report me!
The officers spoke to me and Stephanie the wife of Mr Melon. During conversation she stated she wasnt there but he told her his story! She went on to say that Mr Melon is living her dream and this review hurts her! If it does then simply apologise! That is all! Dont lie, dont defame my name!!
Id never recommend this place, the wife Stephanie claimed she is the victim. She could simply let her husband apologize instead of being wrong and strong.
I certainly will never recommend this place to anyone. Dr Stephanie and Dr Ravi are two persons I dont know and they should know I am not loathing on them but simply posting an honest review based on what transpired. She gave her side of the story which was merely hearsay as she clearly stated she wasnt there!

Read moreI visited Happy Melon with high expectations based on its great reputation. Unfortunately, my experience fell short due to issues with service staff and his professionalism.
Upon arrival, I noticed that while the restaurant had a pleasant ambiance, the service was not as attentive as I had hoped.
Having confirmed our reservations and also calling to let them know we will be 10 mins late. We were seated on the outer areas still inside but not in any rooms, which was fine with us, has we figured they will be closing soon (1 hour n a half), so probably here is easier for them to clean up, which is all fine.
After placing our drinks order, we released that the sun was on us. We asked if we could move, and the person said inside was full and no other tables was available. He asked if we would like to move the table forward we did and was ok BTW 2 mom and 2 kids, one mom & kid was in the sun, and the other had to face the glare.
Unfortunately, the sun moved as it does! while we were eating and had to sit in the sun again. Our food arrived while some items tasted good some didn't. Throughout our whole dining time, the server never checked with us after dropping off our food. I even walked to the back to see if I could get him as he didn't bring my drink order it was just water but I had no drink. Where I found 1 room was full and the other had 1 set of patrons dining and 3 empty seting areas. To be honest, i feel a bit disappointed after seeing this, as we had asked to move earlier.
Our order, the pancakes were undercooked, and among other small stuff. When I asked if I could get salt n pepper for the table, he said the food is already seasoned and won't need any after that comment he did bring us some, but that comment was unprofessional
Although mistakes happen, the response from the staff was not very helpful, and we felt that our concerns were not addressed with the professionalism that's typically expected in such settings. As I explained to the guy how i felt about our experience, he then stated to me my opinion was unfair as he did his best, and maybe it's our fault, I said I'm not being rude. I complimented you on the ambiance and some of the dishes. I'm just stating our disappointment. As we came out for a lovely brunch and chose this place because of the great reviews, I'm simply stating our disappointment in our experience. He then went on again to say he thought I was not being fair, but he would not charge us for one pancake. It's not about charging us for the food. All we would have liked was an apology and a smile. And not give us attitude when we asked for simply service.
While I appreciate the effort put into the restaurant's menu and atmosphere, I believe that enhancing the training for staff can improving service efficiency could significantly elevate the guest experience.
I hope that my feedback will be taken constructively. Again, I'm not bashing the place, but you need to treat your customers a bit better. The guy attitude should mirror your establishment, a place that looks chic...

We made reservations, ended up with a table outside in the sun and they told us they could not provide a table inside for us because all the tables were booked. I asked for napkins and which weren’t provided with out meals, ended up waiting over twenty minutes for napkins to wipe my hands. The food took ridiculously long to be prepared and my wings were cold and stiff when I received it, couldn’t even finish my dish. The lady never checked in with our table, we had to wait forever to just get the bill and leave. They never accommodated us inside (although more than two parties left) and we spent more than two hours there all because the service was the worst ever. Never again in this lifetime will this establishment get my money. To the admin of the page, don’t make me post the pictures of us sitting outside for dining. You all should be able to accept that your service is not always spectacular. I had five other people attending with me so before you criticize and ASSUME that your establishment is flawless, go hire more wait staff.
