Lee-Ann's Cakery — Restaurant in Trinidad

I had a very disappointing experience with Leanne’s Cakery. I originally ordered a wedding cake with coconut flavor, lemon curd filling, cream cheese frosting, and fresh strawberries on top. A $500 deposit was made, but when the wedding was canceled more than a month in advance, the business refused to return the deposit despite the ample notice and the fact that no service had been provided.

After some negotiation, Leanne eventually agreed to offer a $500 credit. However, the process of using this credit was problematic. We decided to request a smaller version of our original wedding cake (without the strawberries, as agreed), but what was delivered was a 5-inch vanilla cake with butter frosting and a faint hint of lemon — certainly not the lemon curd filling we had paid for.

The quality did not match the price, and the final product was nowhere near the standard or description of what was originally ordered. In my opinion, the cakes are significantly overpriced for the quality provided. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend...

I live in the US and I looked high and low to get a cake made for my dad beforehand for his party I threw this past weekend. I was t sure what I would get, but I found this bakery and went with it. IM GLAD I DID! I ordered a 6in 2 tier cake and a rum cake and BOTH were delicious. The 2 tier cake was just like I requested with the decor, and it was very light and the icing was not overly sweet. Really moist! Black cake was really good and you could definitely taste the rum in the cake and it was moist as well. She provided the best customer service, and was patient since I was not in Trinidad at the time of placing my order. Pick up was smooth. I would definitely recommend and use her services...

How do I start, I would let says thank You thank you thank you . She did my daughters fifth birthday cake it was beautiful not only inside but outside . It tasted delicious not to sweet and not dry at all. Her butter cream was out of this world...... not to mention her professionalism - I am a big fan of excellent and efficient service and let me tell you le ann did it and beyond . I pray and ask god to continue to shine his light upon you; cause your talent is blessing to me and those that encounter your lovely cakes.
