The Original Pizza Parlour — Restaurant in Trinidad

Imagine being hungry to the point of starving, and then getting something to eat. No matter what it is, that food would be heavenly! This is what food from this place tastes like, except it's just as great, when you're not that hungry. The Original Pizza Palour's pizza is thin crusted, overflowing with ingredients, always piping hot, and very, very delicious.

I remember the first time that I bought it, just out of pure curiosity. Not knowing what to expect, I ordered it before I actually reached there, and 20 minutes later, I collected the pizza in a white box. Any pizza lover would know that a good pie needs no extra condiments, so I opened the box only when I got into the car: I couldn't believe how loaded this pizza was! I looked up at the advertised pizza on their signage, and in my box, was the same, if not better! I was wow'd. Then the taste... OMG! A perfect pie! My gold standard is Joe's, and to be honest, this pizza can redefine what is my gold standard.

Recently though, I did visit the establishment and I thought that I got less than what was their usual standard. A representative of the company reached out and quickly made it right! So aside from the excellent pizzas that are sold, their commitment to service is second to none. And I'm a stickler for proper service.

I can't recommend The Original Pizza Palour enough. If you're headed to Mayaro, just before the new gas station that is being built, you'll see the building where the Palour is located. Treat yourself but be warned: you will become...

The customer service was great, the servers were friendly and helpful. The prices for most foods were affordable however the pizza prices were on the higher end given that it's seafood. The bathroom and dinning facilities were clean. The dinning area has fans and some open air, some persons may feel the heat given the weather but it was tolerable. There's a kids menu and also lots of drinks options both alcoholic and mock tails available. The desserts options are limited. There is some wait time if persons are ordering pizzas. The regular food items came out quickly and the portion sizes were not bad. I tried the seafood pizza, thought it would have been fresh as it contained King fish, shrimp and lobster but surprisingly it wasn't. I definitely would love to go back to try their lobster pizza and a few more items...

We visited the original The Original Pizza Parlour all the way in Mayaro recently and we met with a young couple that runs the establishment. The secret behind the pizza was passed down from Kerwin's mother and since then they have expanded what the business was years ago. They specialize in a variety of thin crust pizzas but the king fish and shrimp pizzas caught our eye. Funny enough that pizza was created for the people of Mayaro but they told us many "outsiders" love it (persons living outside of Mayaro).
