Wing Hua Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Trinidad

Ok so the customer service in the dine-in/restaurant area isn't always great (you can't say you weren't warned) you will have to wait forever if they are busy, my last visit was super bad as they forgot to place the order for some of our items ( which is weird as you have to tick it off on a piece of paper), kinda disappointing but let me tell you; the dim sum here IS GOOD! This is one of my favorite places to get dim sum! although the customer service can be challenging (sometimes) I keep going back 😆

I like the green tea and I love the fact that they bring an extra pot of hot water so you don't have to ask.

They also have GOOD take out Chinese food and bubble tea! This section has fast and decent customer service as you simply place the order at the cashier and wait for your food which is apx a 15 min wait. The lady at the cashier and food pickup counter is very efficient.

Today I tried calling about 5/6 times to make a reservation for a birthday dinner, finally I got through and spoke to someone and told them the amount of persons and average time. The person replied and said "okay no problem just come we have space" (in which I'm assuming is a Chinese accent) I asked what time does dining in close to which she replied " 9 but we close at 9:30"

.( And I knew I called the correct branch because the person who answered said "Champ Fleur" S when she answered)

So I said okay nice. Lovelyyyy.. We reach there around 8 to be told dining in is already closed. I asked how come because I SPECIFICALLY called and make sure just to avoid this. The girl response was "Well idk who you spoke with" I proceeded to explain my co conversation with Casper and she just looked at me more confused than me.. like there's nothing she can do. 🫠 We just turned around and left. Place looks nice inside but they are no panda express, they take long to give you the food when you dining, they gave me my food like 15 minutes after ordering and served my wife 15 minutes after I got my food so she had to watch me eat half of mine before she could get hers and the rice was cold (I mean darn don't you guys have a microwave) the waiters didn't even check on us to ask if everything is OK, they just not organized they need new management With someone who knows about restaurant and customer service, alcoholic drinks were nice I admit even though the rice was cold the food was tasty especially the pepper shrimp that was the best, so I ordered 2 specials and a 1/4 portion of pork I never got the pork and BAM there it was on my bill of course I had them take it off, it was my birthday so they gave me complementary ice cream, the roulette machine at the entrance is a turn off I had to give a one star because...
