Dar El Hout — Restaurant in Maghreb

We went there last year. It's a little paradise. Great food, great service and great atmosphere, in one of the most beautiful beach of Tunisia. We live in Sweden, this is our new place. Every time we come to my beautiful Tunisia, we have to go there. My swedish wife was pregnant when we were there last summer. She was very fussy and picky eater. according to her, it was one of the best food she ate in Tunisia. Adel the chef is very kind and cook really great food. He made me a special spaghetti seafood one of the best seafood pasta i ever had. Everything in the kitchen is fresh. You pick your own fish, mostly still alive. Slim and Rouge ( blonde) Are 2 great waiters. I hope they still working there. Slim specially always running like mad to keep everyone happy. The first time we met him he was so busy in his jobb he went straight in the glass door in full power ( He thought the door was closed). He just looked at us, smiled and carried on with his jobb, he had a big red mark on his forehead. My children love him, They always say : daddy can we go to that place where's the waiter smashed his head on glass, they thought it was hilarious. You're simply the best, and a very hard worker Unfortunately we not visiting Tunisia this year my wife had our baby boy few months ago. Too young to travel with him. The worst food I ever ordered , the cooking area didn’t look clean at all , very expensive: one plate has 6 shrimp 🍤 and a little bit of French fries 🍟 they charged us 45 tnd on top of that it tasted really bad

Un resto super sympa et familial, on s’y sent tout de suite à l’aise. L’ambiance est chaleureuse, le service agréable, et surtout… les portions sont vraiment copieuses.
