Dar Shat Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Maghreb

With fully pain I write this complaints, and I request from everybody’s here;who can accept this treatment for him self,by the last Friday the 22nd of September 2023 I was recently treated poorly by one of your staff members when I asked to paid the first bills by 50% as I request the order before 3PM as the roles of the restaurant and I swear by my God I am sure that’s my request was in the mentioned time 🕰️ ,but unfortunately the waiter said that’s I request my order after 3PM and he refused totally even to discuss with me,I don’t discuss with him as I am with my wife and my 2 child’s and I paid the bills as he requested,but sincerely I wasn’t satisfied with his action. Hi left the service as it is the crew change at 6PM,and I continued my consumption with the new staff till 9PM,with a bigger surprise I was asked to leave the restaurant for behaving in a disorderly manner, I was not given a reason for my expulsion, and I feel that I was unfairly treated. I was really disappointed by the way that the waiter treated me and haw they take the order from my table in front of my family without any respect and they call for me the police to pushing me to leave the restaurant,for what things I have been make it,sincerely till the moment I don’t know 🤷‍♂️. I find my self with the security and the police pushing me outside the restaurant,for the reason that’s I have to kids with me,sincerely I refuse to leave the restaurant by this manner and I asked them to finish my 2 beers and paid my bills,then I will left with my family with fully respect,they refuse totally and they push me out of the restaurant without any humanity In an arbitrary manner,even with animals we can’t do it what they do for me,they broke my phone brand new they tore my clothes and beat me. The same manner they treated my wife when I was outside the restaurant,they asked her to leave the restaurant with my baby’s,till today my wife still Psychologically confused from this way haw she leave the restaurant. Sincerely it is the worst place I visited in my life and I hope everybody’s read from my experience to know this worst place. They didn’t seem to care about how I was feeling, I think that the waiter,security ,manager or even the owner,the police should have been more sympathetic to my situation, and he should have done something to make me feel better. The place itself is beautiful but the service makes your experience horrible!

Security have zero level of customer service and super rude! it was my first time in this bar and it will be the last!

When I arrived the security in the door said that it was full and all reserved! At that moment a group of girls arrived and they let them in! I was in shock I looked at the security and I said are you serious ? Than he went to talk to someone and let us in demanding money when we leave the place because he let us in! What a joke for a professional place.

When we went in spending a lot of money to enjoy which I totally don’t mind ! I was dancing on my own bothering no one! A big guy security came and told me to go and sit on my table in a rude manner ! I told him is this a prison or what ? Than I went to talk to the manager and the security was following me to switch the conversation making it favourable to him!

If the manager of this establishment reads this!

You have a really beautiful place ! But if your not going to clear or at least teach your staff to have some manners! This place will look unprofessional and you will keep loosing...

Very lovely place!!! I had to drive from Sousse to Mahdia just because I go recommendations that I should try out Dar Chat if want to enjoy beach time and definitely it is worth the trip!!! One of the great options for a relaxing and fun summer afternoon! It is kind of beach lounge with a great chef in their kitchen so don’t hesitate to go there hungry 😋 especially if you like fresh seafood meals!!! Personally I tried the calamaris as appetizer and the seafood pasta as a main course and both options were excellent👌 well maintained with great atmosphere, beautiful decoration and good selection of music 🎶 reasonably priced and well managed place! beach was well maintained and very clean! The only downside was the stuff they could be a bit more welcoming because we waited forever to get someone to help us even tho we kept calling for servers!!! I am not sure if it is the case everyday or they were exceptionally busy that day in particular however this is the reason why I am giving only a 4 stars not 5. otherwise everything was excellent and I do recommend...
