Mixed feelings about this restaurant. I came with my mother yesterday for dinner seeing the nice reviews. In photos, the merou couscous that was served at first (1 / 4) of normal fish portion in TN. After I claimed, they made a correction on that, which is fine, and the taste was good authentic. The problem here is that I have had a funny stomach for the last 24h, I suspected the green salad since the smell & taste was mildly off when I had it. Maybe considering the hot weather inside / outside the restaurant. Or maybe something else, whatever it’s, I think it should be checked. I have to say, the manager was there and seemed attentive, which to be appreciated. Regarding the other fish plate, the fries were very dry as you can see in the picture. Rice blend. Fish is ok ish. Small caliber.
In essence, based on my 1st experience, I wouldn’t return back to this address, given what the city of Mahdia has to offer. In terms of quality/price...

The food is excellent and incredibly fresh, with daily-caught fish cooked to perfection. You can really tell everything is homemade with high-quality ingredients. An absolute treat!
The place is spotless, the service is quick and attentive, and the whole team goes above and beyond.
On top of that, the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality of food and service, amazing value!
