Hands down our favourite dining spot. Ate here twice—first meal (lunch) straight off the plane and our last supper before leaving after our week-long work trip. Really warm, friendly service, and the complexity of flavours was genuinely impressive. Second time in Hammamet after first visiting seven years ago, and this place has absolutely delivered. The sleeper hit was their Salad Mechwia (roast grilled spicy pepper situation that went great with the house bread) to start. Special shout-out to the Fish Couscous—the fish was super fresh and the flavour-town happening in that couscous was lovely. We also loved the Grilled Fish with fries and salad. The Frite Omelette (omelette with potato, basically greasy French fries baked in) actually slapped too... not for cholesterol watchers, though. Only thing we didn't quite vibe with was the Brik (sorry, Tunisia). All pics taken as an after-thought once we realised how good the food was—except for the grilled fish, which we captured mostly undestroyed on our second visit. Don't be put off if you don't find the place buzzing... the food speaks for itself.

From the moment I walked in, I felt an incredible warmth — like stepping into someone’s home. The atmosphere was filled with love and authenticity, and every corner of the place told a story. Now the food? Hands down, some of the most delicious and flavorful dishes I’ve ever tried in my life. Every bite was rich with taste and care. The couscous, in particular, was absolutely phenomenal — it reminded me of comforting homemade meals, the kind you crave when you miss home. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the amazing hospitality from the owners, Alaa and Marwan. Alaa is Palestinian-Jordanian and Marwan is Tunisian — a beautiful blend that’s reflected not only in the food but in the whole vibe of the place. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine passion for what they do made the visit feel extra special. This was easily one of the best experiences I had during my visit to Tunisia — and the first place I’ll return to when I come back. Thank you for the beautiful memories â™„ïžđŸ™đŸŒ

It was such a delightful experience. A restaurant at the heart of a touristic city, with traditional atmosphere. The owners are beyond kind and generous and you will feel like you're eating food at your home, so cosy. The food experience was fantastic, even though the restaurant is specialised with authentic traditional Tunisian food which is exceptional, we had the opportunity to experience oriental food (syrian dishes) which was prepared by the lovely Alaa (for oriental dishes you should call them beforehand, Tunisian food is available everyday) I recommend this place as it has the combination between exceptional food, great service, affordable prices and authentic placement 😀 I forgot to take pictures of the dishes as they were so freaking delicious 😋

The moment we walked in, it didn’t feel like entering a restaurant — it felt like entering a home. There was a warmth in the air, the kind that wraps around you and makes you feel instantly at ease.

Marwan and his lovely wife Alaa welcomed us with such genuine kindness, it felt like we were old friends rather than first-time guests. They started us off with a bowl of soup that was incredibly delicious — simple, comforting, and full of flavor.

Then came the mixed grill, rich with spices and grilled to perfection — honestly, I don’t think you could find the same flavors anywhere else. Alongside it, they served a seafood pasta that completely blew me away. It was, without exaggeration, one of the tastiest dishes I’ve ever had.

I was enjoying the food and the warm, cozy atmosphere so much that I completely forgot to take any photos of the meal — and for someone who loves to document everything, that says a lot!

But what truly made this experience unforgettable wasn’t just the food. It was the incredible hospitality of Alaa and Marwan. Alaa, Palestinian-Jordanian, and Marwan, Tunisian, bring so much heart and soul into this place. Their warmth, generosity, and passion for what they do shine through in every detail — from the food to the ambiance to the way they treat their guests.

This was, without a doubt, one of the most special experiences I’ve had in Tunisia — and I know exactly where I’m heading first when I return. Thank you for such...
