This is a great place for family outings. There is a huge play area and you can have food or just have something sweet with some drinks (hot or cold).
We had Virgin morios and various dishes. They tasted very nice but beware of the savoury pancakes as they have lot but really lot of cheese and of course a good dose of harissa!
Also sweet really means sweet and you get a rather large portion for next to nothing.
They have kids menues and serve traditional green tea with month and pines nuts.
The service is very good however ask for one sweet dish to either be swapped or binned as it was literally falling appart and my kids would not have it. I told them I don’t mind to be charge extra for something new but they initially refuse to bin it and take it off our hands when it was melting all over my hands.
Finally someone told the particular server to take it off my hands. Another poured us some tea which was a really nice touch and made sure our table was always kept clean.
Everything was really nice and sweet and we had a nice time at Yoyo! The atmosphere is good however it can be hard to hear each others with...
Read more[July 2025 Edit] Access to the kids' park inside the café now costs 7.5 dinars! This should be FREE for customers. Instead, they charge 6 dinars for access + 1.5 if you don't bring YOYO socks! So disappointing, really.
On the good side, the atmosphere is still good and service is decent despite some grumpy employees.
Also, prices on the menu have not increased so far, which is very good seeing how much these increased elsewhere.
I'm keeping the 3 stars for now, but this can improve in the future.
Rather expensive, but nice location
This used to be Café Wassila, and it used to be good. Now prices have rocketed well beyond the reach of the average consumer. By all means, avoid their set breakfasts, which are too sweet and heavy on calories. Other than that, the place is nice, the service good, and the premises air-conditioned. Also, this is probably the only place in town where you can find a no-smoking area. If only prices were...
Read moreI went to this restaurant two days ago with my friends. The prices were high but it wasn't a surprise honestly. What was a surprise tho is the quality of the food. We ordered burgers and it wasn't worth the price. Even the mojito was way too sweet and it was for 14.8dt (mind you: i can get a way better mojito for 8 dt max). After we ate, i went to the toilet to wash my hands and they weren't the most hygenic but it's okay that doesn't matter. When I got back, my friends told me that they kicked us out because there was a family coming. They didn't have to do that we were leaving anyway. We counted our money (it took a while because we are young and that's what youth is). And we found the family outside and they were many free seats. They didn't have to make us leave our seats all of a sudden. So yeah I hope you improve the food and the service because honestly if the service AND the food is bad u shouldn't open...
