Speakeasy on Mondays. Don't go! As the name of the concept suggests, it's supposed to be a quiet night, so far everything is normal. Although their cocktail menu is strong enough, they said today no cocktail service except alcoholic and non-alcoholic mojitos. It was a big disappointment! They should have informed me when I called to make a reservation at the bar. Then I could have decided if I wanted to go there or not. The staff definitely doesn't speak a foreign language. I am not talking about they speak with me about world peace and the future, they should at least know the language of service. It was posted on Insatgram that it won the best restaurant award. I haven't tried the food but it's a big 0 in terms of service and service quality. I know how high alcohol prices and the taxation system are in this country where I work as a Food and Beverage Manager. But paying 45 TND for 4 cl of Hendricks Gin and an additional 10 TND for tonic, no snacks, wet seat cushions and the table was never checked was a...

Great Food and Service, but Some Disappointing Practices

The food here was absolutely amazing, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The service during the meal was attentive and friendly, which really added to the experience.

However, there are a few things to be aware of. First, the atmosphere was extremely noisy and filled with smoke, which made it hard to fully relax and enjoy the meal. If you're sensitive to loud environments or smoke, this could be a dealbreaker.

Also, always double-check your bill. We noticed items had been added that we didn’t order. While the staff corrected it when pointed out, it's something you shouldn’t have to worry about.

Another odd and disappointing experience was with the reservation. I called ahead and was told the restaurant was fully booked. But when a female guest with me called immediately after, they were suddenly able to find a table. It felt like blatant gender-based profiling, which really shouldn’t happen anywhere, let alone at a place with...

A beautiful venue let down by everything inside it.

Let's be clear: the garden setting is absolutely stunning—a true peaceful oasis in the city. It’s the only reason for the single star.

Beyond that, the experience was deeply disappointing. The food was thoroughly average and forgettable. However, the service was memorably cold. We were visibly judged for ordering a light dinner without alcohol, met with a disdainful "That is it?" from our waiter.

The atmosphere was completed by a clientele that seemed exclusively composed of young rich kids and older men with much younger companions, making for a rather uncomfortable and transactional vibe.

Our waiter was apathetic from start to finish, offering no engagement or care. The service was so remarkably poor that we decided, for the first time ever, not to leave a tip—a decision he seemed to expect with the same indifference with which he did everything else. A beautiful place to see, but not...

Ask for Boris at the bar if you speak English, he was an absolute gem, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about cocktails and the menu. He mixed a great old fashioned and margarita. The cote de boeuf was perfectly cooked, though the risotto side needed more time. The pasta carbonara had REAL PORK BACON! Though it used parmesan, not pecorino romano, and used a bit of cream. The atmosphere was very upscale, as were the prices. Clientelle dressed for the occasion, so make sure you wear something nicer for the evening. The restaurant seems to have two sides, and we dined on the right side (of the neon camel).
