Restaurant Grillade Zine El Chem — Restaurant in Tunis

The short version of the review: I felt happy after taking the first bite of the mutton "fatira" and It felt like "aid". This is also a place I'll probably visit again!

Now for the long version, be ready: The place is well lit and welcoming, even though I visited during "no tables/seats" hours (due to government restrictions/ covid related). The place is very welcoming. Menu was properly displayed and prices are fair. The orders didn't take too long, we took two types of "fatira" and two sandwiches. The fatira itself is a bit small, but very very delicious. The sandwiches were also good, but I will probably discard the hummos sauce because it felt a bit too briny.

Seating: indoor and outdoor seating, with some eastern decoration in some of the seating areas.

*General vibe: very welcoming and you'll feel "like home"

Food: lamb was well prepared, and I'll probably be trying their full plates next time I visit when seating will be available.

Staff: Very nice and welcoming, they mixed our orders, but that's okay and happens.

Hygiene: very clean.

This is a place I'd probably visit again! good...

Absolutely you need to try it food is delicious and there's many different choices Keep in my mind it's 80% Syrian food not 100% If you're coming to taste Syrian rice well unfortunately it's like any other restaurant they just use Tunisian rice so in my opinion no need to try it unless it doesn't matter with you

Other than that everything was clean the food is hot , their service seems very fast compared to how busy the restaurant was

The service was quick and the staff was friendly and responsive. The portions were really big, but the taste was average. Beside that, the cashier was a super rude girl. She starts and stops the music as she likes without caring about their customers. I couldn't even talk to my partner without raising my voice. I asked 3 times to lower the volume. She responded at first but after couple of minutes she raised it again 😭... Unrespectful. No manager was there. Sadly, Will never eat...
