Carne RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Çanakkale Merkez

We stayed in the hotel for one night and had dinner and breakfast in the Carne restaurant. It was fabulous. For dinner, we sat outside on the lawn and we had the stuffed chicken breast and the risotto, with mushrooms and truffles. One of the best risottos I have ever had. I ordered a glass of white wine by the glass and the waiter came back and said that they had run out and that was it! But, shortly, he returned with a wine that they only serve by the bottle and opened it for me, to have a glass. That is what great service is all about. The staff were attentive, without hovering and lovely. Breakfast was amazing. It is served at your table and the amount of food and variety was overwhelming, but so good. We also had scrambled eggs, which were perfect. You could have eggs anyway you liked. There were olives, a selection of cheeses, meat, tomatoes, cucumbers, jams, variety of bread, juices, fruit, cakes. We ordered espresso and cappuccino coffee, which we found out later we had to pay extra for (our breakfast was included in the room rate), so maybe they should explain that coffee is extra. This restaurant, nestled within a hotel just off the highway and very close to the Çanakkale Bridge, is an absolute hidden gem — especially for wine lovers. You wouldn’t expect such a remarkable experience from a place so conveniently located, but it truly exceeds expectations.

First things first: the wine. The cellar is large, beautifully curated, and filled with an impressive selection — including rare bottles that even seasoned wine experts will appreciate. Whether you’re a curious enthusiast or a true connoisseur, you’re in for a treat.

The service? Simply outstanding. From the moment you’re greeted, the team makes you feel genuinely welcome. There’s even a complimentary welcome cocktail, which is a lovely touch. The sommelier clearly knows their craft and is more than happy to guide you through the wine list with genuine enthusiasm and expertise.

The food is just as memorable as the wine. With a menu featuring well-prepared Mediterranean favourites, fresh fish, and high-quality meat dishes, everything we tried was spot on. The star of the meal, though, was their special salad with vine leaves — a unique and absolutely delicious creation.

The restaurant manager sets the tone for the entire team: warm, attentive, and inviting. The atmosphere is relaxed yet elegant, making it perfect for casual dinners or special gatherings. They’re also wonderfully flexible when it comes to organising wine tastings or themed events.

Oh — and there’s an EV charger in the parking lot, which is a thoughtful bonus.

All in all, this is the kind of place that deserves far more than 5 stars. A true standout — not only for wine lovers, but for anyone who appreciates excellent food, heartfelt service, and memorable experiences.

Otoyolun hemen yanında, Çanakkale Köprüsü’ne oldukça yakın konumda yer alan bu otelin restoranı, tam anlamıyla gizli bir cevher. Özellikle şarap tutkunları için adeta bir keşif noktası!

Öncelikle şaraplardan bahsedelim: Geniş ve özenle düzenlenmiş bir mahzen, içerisinde nadir bulunan şaraplarla dolu. Sadece meraklıları değil, profesyonel şarap uzmanlarını bile mutlu edecek kadar özel bir seçkiye sahip. Gerçekten etkileyici.

Hizmet kalitesi harika. İlk karşılamadan itibaren kendinizi çok özel hissediyorsunuz. Hoş geldiniz kokteyli gibi küçük ama zarif dokunuşlar da unutulmamış. Şarap konusunda bilgili ve ilgili bir sommeliyer, menüdeki seçenekler konusunda hem yönlendirici hem de keyifli sohbet sunuyor.

Yemekler de şaraplar kadar başarılı. Menüde Akdeniz mutfağından et ve balık seçenekleri yer alıyor, her biri özenle hazırlanmış. Ama asıl yıldız: Asma yapraklı özel salataları. Gerçekten çok farklı ve muazzam lezzetli bir tabak.

Restoran müdürü, samimi ve misafirperver tavrıyla tüm ekibe ilham veriyor. Ortam hem rahatlatıcı hem de zarif; ister sıradan bir akşam yemeği, ister özel bir etkinlik için ideal. Üstelik şarap tadımı veya özel konseptli buluşmalar için de oldukça esnekler.

Bir de küçük ama önemli bir artı: Otoparkta elektrikli araç şarj ünitesi mevcut.

Kısacası bu restoran, yalnızca şarap sevenler için değil; lezzetli yemek, içten hizmet ve unutulmaz bir atmosfer arayan herkes için öne çıkan bir adres. 5 yıldızdan...

Avec Otel'in bir parçası olarak hizmet veren restoran otelde kalan misafirlere ücretsiz kahvaltı sunmakta olup, akşamlari da Şef Ramazan Ertürk 'ün muhteşem sunum ve leziz yemekleri ile alakart olarak hizmet vermektedir. Servis personelinin ilgi, alaka ve guleryuzu ile hizli servisi bizi memnun etmistir. Akşam yemeginde, yemekten once 2 cesit tereyağı (karamelize soganli-feslegenli) ve sefin gunun ikrami olarak arancini sunuldu. Gunun corbasi olarak havuc corbasini ilk defa deneyimledik ve cok beğendik. Baslangic olarak firinlanmis pancar carpaccio, kızarmış kuşkonmaz ve izgara patates soyledik.Hem ikramlar, hem çorba hem de baslangiclar ana yemek oncesi bizim için guzel, hafif bir lezzet oldu. Salata olarak kavunlu roka salatasi soyledik. Sunumu, icerisindeki detay lezzetleriyle (konya kuflusu, balsamic sirke havyari..) muhtesem bir salataydi.Ana yemek olarak kizimizin tercihi pizza margaritta bizim tercihimiz ise karides ve midyeli risotto ile dana saslik oldu.. Her 3 yemek de sunum ve lezzetleriyle bizi cezbetti..Son olarak 2 cesit tatli siparis ettik. Çikolata fondant ve banoffee tercih ettik. Cikolata fondant dondurmali bir sufle tarziydi. Banoffee ise ustundeki tuzlu karamel kitiri, altindaki crumble i ve yumusacik, kivamli kopugu ile tarif edilemez, yaşanılmasi gereken bir lezzetti. Tarifte eksik kaldigimiz yerler olduysa şeften simdiden ozur dileriz ama muh-te-şem-di !! Yeniden yolumuz Canakkale ye duserse - aklimizda kalan- kesinlikle ugrayip, menudeki diger lezzetleri de tatmak isteyecegimiz bir restoran oldu.
