The restaurant is exceptional by all standards and is considered the best restaurant in Uzungöl. Starting with the outstanding staff, Mr. Othman, the restaurant manager, was always at the forefront, warmly welcoming us. His attention to details and constant presence reflect his commitment to providing an unforgettable hospitality experience. He was always available to assist guests and ensure their complete satisfaction in all aspects.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, starting with the courteous Mr. Omar, who was always smiling and greeted us wonderfully. He is a true model of dedication to his work; he did not just provide service, but strived to ensure our comfort and complete satisfaction. His constant smile and positive spirit were an integral part of our wonderful experience at the restaurant.
Mr. Erjan, who was always smiling and courteous, also tried to speak Arabic to make us feel even more comfortable. He was always present to meet our needs in a polite and friendly manner. He had an amazing ability to make us feel comfortable and welcome, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.
There were also Sheikh Mous and Rahman Qader, as well as another staff member who spoke Arabic, but I couldn’t catch his name. All the staff, even those whose names I didn’t ask, were extremely polite and welcoming, and they were happy to provide the highest levels of service, responding quickly to any request.
As for the food, it was simply indescribable in its excellence. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the flavors were incredibly delicious and the portions were perfectly appropriate. The location is excellent, as the restaurant is situated at a convenient elevation from Uzungöl, making it easily accessible by car. There are parking spaces and a cart to help reach the restaurant instead of using the stairs, and the view of Uzungöl Lake was very beautiful.
I visited the restaurant several times during my stay in Uzungöl and recommend everyone visit this exceptional restaurant to enjoy a unique dining and hospitality experiences. It is truly a place not...
Read moreI’m sorry to say but this place is a complete scam. Only after we were seated and looking at the menu were we told by the staff that they were having electrical issue at the restaurant. They failed to explain that the interruption in electricity was going to mean that we weren’t going to receive half of the food that is included in the breakfast for 2. Everyone who arrived at the restaurant was essentially forced into ordering the breakfast for two which is priced at 1240 TL - even if they were a party of 4 or more. This “breakfast for 2” includes two slices of a couple different types of cheese, two slices of processed lunch meat, two small chunks of watermelon, a measly scrambled egg and a single egg “waffle”. They take the “two” breakfast for two very literally here. The rest of the breakfast includes a bunch of small bowls of olives, cheap jams, stale bread, and knock off nutella. To say the breakfast was a disappointment is an understatement. We were initially told that menemen and kuymak would be included and only after ordering were we told that it would cost us extra. Essentially, every customer is guaranteed to have to pay 1240 TL and then once you realize that the one and a half eggs you are given aren’t going to fill you, you’re forced to pay extra for any other dishes. You might think, oh I could just order individual items, right? Nope! You’re not allowed to order individual items. How else would they scam you out of 40 bucks? To make our weird experience even weirder, the table next to us got up without touching their cheese “platter”. The manager of the place swooped in and carefully picked up the platter and took it back to the kitchen and then a few minutes later, another waiter came by to clean up the table. Can’t help but think that they’re reusing uneaten food - not the the time to be reducing, reusing and recycling 😅. They view is gorgeous, so there’s that. Otherwise, save your stomach...
Read moreOne of the best restaurants I visited in Uzungol in terms of hospitality, food, and the amazing view. If you go, ask for a guy named Mustafa — he serves from the heart, always smiling, joking, and makes you feel very welcome.
The menu has a lot of good options. We ordered: • Cheeseburger → 7.5/10 (just be careful, there’s a small spicy option inside the burger 😅) • Cheese kofta → 10/10, absolutely delicious • Seasonal salad → 6/10 (too much onion compared to tomatoes) • Shish tawook → 9/10, perfectly cooked • Baklava with ice cream → so good and definitely recommended
Some of the appetizers were not available, but it wasn’t a big issue.
The total bill was 2450 TL, which is very reasonable compared to restaurant prices in Trabzon.
Highly recommended and I would...
