We recently visited this restaurant after hearing good things, but unfortunately, our experience left a lot to be desired. From the moment we sat down, we weren’t offered menus and were instead immediately shown the fish of the day. When I politely asked for something that *was* on the menu, the two main servers—who I suspect are the owners—were dismissive and borderline rude, pushing the fish option instead. Reluctantly, we agreed, only to find that both our fish somehow weighed *exactly* 0.70kg, which felt a bit too convenient. At 2,170 lira each (around £41), this was far from good value. The fish was okay—nothing remarkable—but certainly not worth the price. It came with a "salad" that was just a few large, undressed leaves and two slices of red onion. No olive oil, no vinaigrette, nothing to bring it together. It felt like an afterthought. Additionally, people were smoking inside which took from my experience and is also illegal. While the setting and atmosphere were nice, the food and service didn’t live up to the location. We left feeling overcharged and underwhelmed. Not a place we’d return to or recommend.

First of all, it was a very enjoyable and delicious evening. Everything served was of top quality and taste. Thank you for this beautiful evening. It is the only place that offers the widest variety of seafood and appetizers, fast service, high interest, and where you can find them together in Çeşme. Especially the cold appetizers are unique. It is a popular restaurant not only in summer but also 12 months of the year. Service, attention, relevance is at the highest level. It is recommended. A place that I can call number 1 where I ate fish until today, we came here to eat fish from Istanbul, the cold appetizers are amazing, I recommend it to everyone.

Nicely located on the new Marina this place hasa definite Mediterranean vibe. The seafood is displayed on ice and you're spoilt for choice. The cold and hot starters are on display as well and are excellent. To be frank, as far as the grills go, I've had better fare at other restaurants but Ferdi Baba comes close and given the moderate prices, the wonderful view and efficient service, it makes for a fantastic experience. Expect to pay around TRL 1400 pp with wine. Parking is available near by.

very bad experience. First off, I ordered the shrimp tempura expecting a proper serving, only to be given one single piece. Nowhere on the menu did it mention that it was just one shrimp, and the waiter didn’t say anything either. If that’s the case, it should absolutely be made clear

To make things worse, the price of the shrimp tempura was listed as 340 on the menu — but on the final bill, they charged 430. No explanation, no correction, just blatant price manipulation.

The portion sizes overall were shockingly small for the prices. Again, no heads-up from the staff — just tiny servings that left everyone at the table still hungry. To top it off, they kept refilling our water without asking, and then charged us for it. No one requested extra water, and we were never told that refills came with a price tag. It felt sneaky and dishonest. Overall, it was a disappointing and overpriced experience. Lack of transparency, poor communication, and very underwhelming food. Would...

The worst experience of my life in a restaurant. At the entrance of the 4-5 waiters who passed by us, none of us responded to the greeting. We sat down at a table, and after 15 minutes a waiter came and told us that there was no menu and that we had to choose our order from a shop window. I ordered a portion of fried shrimp, and after 20 minutes a waiter came with a small glass in his hand, in which was inserted a single shrimp and a little sauce. I asked him if this was a portion of shrimp and he said yes. the price of that portion of shrimp that contained a single shrimp, cost 60 Tl. So if you are going to eat here, find out about the prices before ordering. Extremely expensive and hospitality close to zero. I will never return to this place, which in my opinion is a disgrace to Turkish restaurants and hospitality. In addition, they put a 10% tip...
