İBB Çamlıca Sosyal Tesisi — Restaurant in Üsküdar

This place is on top of Çamlıca hill, on Anatolian side of the strait. There is a parking lot 3TL per hour. The restaurant is not large so you may have to wait in line to get a table, but while waiting outside you can take photos with Bosphorus in the background. The scenery is wonderful with Bosphorus and the European side of İstanbul. Outside the restaurant, under large oak trees there is a cafeteria where you can get fast-food like gözleme, hamburger, pizza, kumpir, ice cream and drinks. Inside the restaurant is comfortable. They serve lentil or fish soup, chicken or lamb kebabs, desserts, salads and appetizers. You can have tea for free after the dinner. Service is not too fast but the food is hot which is good. This is one of the most famous services that İstanbul Municibality offers “Sosyal Tesisleri” which means social facilities these places offer high class services with cheap prices that makes simple people be able to visit these places and enjoy the life style of rich people.
