AKPINAR YILDIZLI RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Akçaabat

I'm only giving 1 star because of the magnificent view of the lake. This was the worst experience I ever had in any restaurant in ALL of Turkiye. They never made our reservation for the iftar dinner even though we DID call to reserve a table for 5. Then, after they set up a table for us, they started explaining that they only had kofte iftar menu option available because everything else was "sold out". We arrived before iftar and all the other tables were setup with salads, drinks and other dinner menu items. We had to continue to wait for ours after iftar. The kofte was cold, the rice was not seasoned at all and the soup was not hot. The salad had no olive oil.... very very very poorly made. I would not recommend any tourist to come here because they will not treat you the same as they treat...

Fantastic view, excellent food. However I'm not giving 5 stars for 2 points that I hope management would take in mind: We came with a driver, and asked him to sit with us for lunch. Management came and asked him to sit on a another table which was extremely rude and inhuman! We finished eating lunch and were still sitting as we wanted to have sweets and drinks. Another family came, and the management asked us to move from our table for the new guests! Although we are already sitting and paying our bill. This is not acceptable in basic rules of service. Appreciate fixing these points, else place...

The restaurant has a nice view and very spacious room. THAT'S PRETTY MUCH ABOUT IT.

The service was the worst ever. Disrespectful servants. They looked like they hated to work there. We waited for ever for them to come and take the order. Most of the meals in the menu were not available. They then brought half of the food cold, and brought the other half very late. The food was not even worth it.

AVOUD IT! There are many other options to consider.

The restaurant management has a lot of work to do. Make your employees happy or at least capable to...
