We stopped here for lunch during our Green Tour in Cappadocia. The meal was included in the tour price, so we only paid extra for the drinks. Despite all the bad reviews, I was pleasantly surprised — the food was tasty and well-prepared. I had trout fillet with rice, which I really enjoyed, and the soup and salad were also good. As others mentioned, the drinks were overpriced, and they charged an extra 10% for card payments, but overall I was satisfied with the experience.

Our tour guide Harun brought us here for lunch, and to be completely honest - the 1.7 rating is crazy to us! This was the best meal we ate in Cappadocia for the following reasons: - Excellent panoramic view - Fast and efficient service - Delicious food (lentil soup, salad, chicken / meatballs with bulgur, baklava) The owner even brought us some fresh hot green chilli from his backyard. Overall I do recommend if you’re doing the green tour, or happen to drive by!

Yeah lentil soup is flavorless, but the meatballs and beef casserole are ABSOLUTELY delicious. The lamb fat melts away in your mouth in a very yummy way. I don’t mind the “expensive” drinks (3 USD), it’s a way of supporting the locals. Problem is the guy charged me 260 instead of 240 for 2 drinks and pretended it was a mistake. They gave me 20 back in cash but it was very shady.

Tour agency bring you here as a forced plan. The food is poor with lentil soup as starter, main course is couscous with meat or chicken or veg, and drinks ( which they scam you at the end). They first tell you that you will be served starter with drink, but when you are done they bring the bill. They charge 200 Liras for a drink. They also ask you for having baklava at the end, after you order they tell it's paid. Don't fall in the trap. They scam you wisely. Do not take either...
