Happy Moon's Samsun — Restaurant in Atakum

We went yesterday and ordered a 4 cheese pizza, Manti, chicken and mashroom with cheese, a strawberry mojito and another cocktail. We have been going to Happy Moons for 3+ years and usually the food is pretty good standard. However yesterday the cheese had unmelted pieces of cheese on it. The Manti was not the usual standard and had too much tomato sauce but the worse thing was the Strawberry Mojito. It was basically water with some ice, slight pink colour and a couple of leaves and alcohol. It tasted like water with ice and alcohol in it. It was the worse mojito I have ever had in my life. We are not idiots we have had mojitos in a lot of places and countries and we know what a mojito should taste like. It was undrinkable and we mentioned this to the staff. We were expecting the waiter to apologise and replace the drink without asking any questions. Instead he referred it to his supervisor who came to us and then the supervisor referred it to the Manager who came to us and tried to defend this glass of water with ice and alcohol they had put in front of us claiming it was a Strawberry Mojito.

They refused to accept their fault and made us pay for it. We left the full glass of water + alcohol + ice + some random leaves on the table and paid for it. They felt no shame in charging us for it. Sadly, they lost a customer of many years over a 200 lira Mojito as we will never go here again. Learn to treat your customers with respect and value. You valued us less...

Amazing place. I don't understand why only 4 stars. Staff are very professional and polite, and speak english. Serving is perfect and fast. Drinks and bar very good, huge cocktail card, any drink for any taste. Alcohol and non-alcohol. Even very simple milk shake are piece of art. Mexican food is very authentic, prepared and served hou it must be done. Food taste very delicious. Have menu for kids. The decor and interior are not annoying and very cozy. In the winter here is very warm and no any drafts. The price for such a place is very inexpensive. If I will have a chance, I will come again Kindly recommend to...

Bugün Happy Moon’s’ta arkadaşımızın doğum gününü kutlamak gibi masum bir niyetle geldik, ancak yaşadıklarımız tam anlamıyla bir skandaldı. Mekana girer girmez doğum günü kutlaması yapacağımızı belirttim, arkadaşımı tarif ettim ve sürpriz pasta rica ettim. Her şey net ve açık. Ama ne oldu? Koskoca Happy Moon’s, bir pastayı zamanında getirmekten aciz çıktı.

Kahvaltımızı bitirdik, tam iki kere hatırlattık, hala ortada pasta yok. Sonunda, doğum günü olan arkadaşımız işe yetişmek zorunda olduğu için kalktı. Ve işin en komik tarafı? Tam kalkarken, sihirli bir şekilde pastayı getirmeye kalktılar! Ama artık gerek kalmamıştı, çünkü sürpriz diye planladığımız şey sizin beceriksizliğiniz yüzünden mahvoldu.

Daha da sinir bozucu olan, hesap öderken yaşadığımız rezillikti. Garsonun ukala bir tavırla “Yapacak bir şey yok” demesi, sizin müşteri memnuniyetini ne kadar umursadığınızı gösteriyor. Müşteri memnuniyetinin bu kadar göz ardı edildiği, basit bir doğum günü organizasyonunun bile becerilemediği bir mekana bir daha gelmemek için çok iyi bir sebebimiz oldu. Bundan sonra Happy Moon’s’un kapısından içeri adım atmayacağım gibi, çevremdeki herkese de aynı tavsiyeyi vereceğim. İnsanlara saygı göstermeyi, müşteri memnuniyetini ve en temel organizasyon becerilerini öğrenmeniz dileğiyle.
