It was my worst experience ever after spending 2 great months in Istanbul. I wish restaurant owners read this so they know that their employees simply don’t want to work!!
I arrived at 8:10 pm. Restaurant closes at 10 pm. So i am not late. I went in and there was only 2 tables full. As you can see in the photo no one was inside.
The waiter guy in the photo looked at me and simply did not talk, smile or direct me to a table. He did not even talk. So i said hello merhaba to get his attention and since he does not know English, i showed him with my hand that i am one person expecting he will lead me to a table. He remained standing. Now i got confused. I am a customer and what i should be doing at a restaurant other than order food. I told him i want to eat. I even used my hand around my mouth making the eating gesture. He started talking Turkish. Ok. I do not know. He then talked with the lady preparing the food and i dunno what she told him but he was like we are closed or we donot have food. I dunno. I kept showing him i want to sit and eat until magically the lady started talking very good english. So you are gearing us and u said nothing all that time. She then told me after i started shouting that okay i can sit and eat!!!
I dunno what they were expecting from someone coming into the restaurant. The guy should be standing at the door and welcoming people!!! Does he think i wanted to dance maybe? Or did he think i was begging him to give me free food???
Of course i no more trust eating at a place that i spend 6 minutes trying to make them understand i want to sit and order food!!! I left even though the lady was giving me her persmission to sit and eat!!!
Very bad service. I will never ever visit again. Losers. They just wanted not to work and evidently they were closing way ahead of the time the owner allows them. They just...
Read moreIf you are Korean or Asian in general avoid this place as it will not taste like Korean food at all. For Turkish people who have not tried it before the only good thing would be the kimbap. To further explain, I am Korean, and the food here should not be even close to a standard of being able to open a restaurant. The jjamppong tastes gamey form all the different meats and seafood in there and the broth looks and tastes like it was mixed with random ingredients the chefs could find. The tteokbokki tastes literally like flavored water. The bibimbap has no flavor besides from the vegetables when usually there is supposed to be a gochujang sauce. I would not recommend this place to people who have had Korean food in Korea or Asia in general. (The price is also quite high considering it’s taste and the lack of any air conditioning in the restaurant also degrades the quality of this restaurant...
Read moreVery satisfied with the quality of the food here. The taste of everything we ordered was simply delicious! We came two days in a row…The noodle dishes were one of the best I’ve ever had! The beef and chicken noodle dishes were superb. Spicy, savoury, sweet and sour. I loved every bite and would highly recommend! The crispy chicken ball tenders are a must as well. Every table had some on it, seems like a hit with everyone.
The kimchi is a bit more more sour than the ones I’ve had before, but added so much zing when eaten with my dish. Soup came out boiling and was wonderful. Come a bit earlier as they can take a bit to get the food depending on customers. The amount of complex flavours and umami goodness is simply too good to explain. If you love Asian food, or Korean in specific, you would love this place! So so so very...
