Fisherman House — Restaurant in Marmaris

It was a very good restaurant that I went there for two consecutive dinners. Mezes are very simple but the ingredients are so well that you wouldn’t need anything fancy. I really liked Fava. Calamari might be the best I had in my life. Octopus was fine. Fried red mullet was very fresh and tasty; it didn’t absorb so much oil. Also we tried a grilled local fish which was again delicious but a little bit overcooked for my liking. The owner of the restaurant, who is a very polite gentleman, serves the tables so service is exceptional packed with very informative conversations about the neighborhood. All the tables are outdoor adjacent to the street that is full of cats that wants a taste of your food. I definitely recommend making reservations as it is a very tiny restaurant and attracts lots of attention from locals as well as tourists...

The highlight of the meal was the octopus and prawn pastry. My wife's vegetarian dish was uninspired and my Sea Bass was only excellent on the half the was cooked properly. The owner recommended a fillet but I insisted on the whole fish...I should...

Restaurant yorumlarını okuyarak gidip hayal kırıklığına uğramak😡 tek kelime ile rezalet!!mezeler çok kötü, kalamar ve ahtapot ancak bu kadar kötü yapılabilirdi. Mutlaka denememiz gerekenler arasında ahtapot ve kalamarı önerdiler, önerdikleri ürünleri bu kadar kötü ise diğerlerini düşünemiyorum bile. Peki masadan aç kalkıp o ücreti ödemek..Kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum. Olumlu yorum yazanlar neye göre yorum yaptılar bilemiyorum ama restaurantta lezzetli bir tabak göremedik!!!
