Nusret — Restaurant in Marmaris

We had a very disappointing dining experience this evening,2 main dishes arrived before the starters for the table. My sons steak came well done instead of medium, after sending it back,the same steak came back cut in two and had been put on the grill again... making it burned instead of medium. One of our party wanted a burger but there were no buns..!!!! 15 minutes later miraculously there were buns but 2 people had already changed their order.The waiter who served the baklava with ice cream dropped pieces on the table and then put them back on the plate. We had lunch and dinner multiple times last season and also last April. I'm not sure what happened to the staff but the service was well below what can be aspected from this restaurant where we brought our friends for the first time. Overall a bad experience and I don't think we'll be dining there anytime...

My family loves Nusret's meats. We live in France and can't find equivalent meats there so they really want to visit Nusret (and Zuma which offers ultra premium meats but at a far higher price) This restaurant is very nice, it's location is gorgeous right at the beach and the service is super attentive.

One thing that surprised me was the lack of table cloths (that's acceptable) and cloth napkins (this really damages the concept and makes this nice place feel cheaper) Plus the waiters wear bow-ties and head waiters wear suits so it looks to me even more strange.

Food prices are quite reasonable given the gorgeous location. The wine menu is very expensive with prices in the 200-8,000€ range and they have lots of very expensive wines so you may really want to avoid making a mistake while choosing wine as it may add one or more zeros...

Called half an hour in advance for a party of 8 and we're given a table no problem. Driving to the location be sure to have some kind of ID as the hotel itself is on a private Road and there is a small security stop. Arriving there we were seated immediately with very warm welcomes from the hotel staff and the restaurant staff despite being in my mind way underdressed. The food as expect was of the highest quality. I'm not much of a steak connoisseur but I would definitely recommend trying it for the experience alone. The waiting staff were incredibly polite and to say attentive would be an understatement. Finally if you're not sure for what reason you should go, I would summarise by saying the view alone it...
