A lovely surprise find. A friendly waitress who helped us navigate the digital menu (which may be common now, but some in our group much prefer paper/card menus), language was not a barrier. Lovely meze including “greens” at her recommendation which were a standout, yummy and fresh gozleme (we had the eggplant and spinach/cheese ones), amongst other things… and with a Turkish coffee to wash it down. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy the views of Şirince and have some delicious home cooked food then this is the place.

The service was amazing here and after we received samples of the delicious ice cold blackberry juice, the lady (who I assume runs the place) did a demonstration of making the Kumda kahve. It was a delightful experience.

We also had gözleme and found that the gözleme here is quite good. Sometimes gözleme is too oily other times too dry but this place makes it right!

Şirince'de oturup bir mekanda şarap içttik. Sonra salaş bir yerde yemek yedik. Şirince'nin köy sokaklarında gezerken bu mekanın önünden geçiyorduk. Bir teyze buyurun buranın manzarası çok güzeldir burada oturup resim çekilebilir siniz dedi. Bizimkiler teyzenin yanına oturdu hadi bari bir kahve içelim dediler. Neyse bende bir iki resim çektikten sonra yanlarına oturdum. Orada kumda yapılan kahve içtik hatta teyze bana pişirdi eşimde kendilerine. Teyze o kadar hoş muhabbetti ki oturup uzun uzun sohbet ettik. Teyze bildiğin bilgi dağarcığı çok sıcak kanlı samimi biriydi. Hatta oğlu karadut suyu satıyordu oğlundan önce çok az tadımlık istedim ardından güzelmiş şunu bir doldur dedim. Teyze bizlere annem diye içten bir söylemle hitap ediyordu. Kahveleri içerken bir ara kolumdaki dövmeyi fark etti amannn oğlumun kolunda Atatürk yazıyor diye öyle bir sevindi ki. Artık kalkacaktık borcumuz ne diye sorduk. Teyzem bize ne borcu siz artık müşteri değilsiniz benim misafirimsiniz dedi. Bizde olmaz felan dedik sonra oğluna dönüp borcumuzu sorduk oda annem ne diyorsa odur dedi.
