Good food but too expensive for an Instagram restaurant in the middle of nowhere. We went there for a dinner and tried different Meze and main dishes. Most food was good, some was really good, a few dishes disappointed on the taste side. Service was friendly but otherwise not particularly noteworthy. Parking is way too small and you need to move your car or wait for others to move theirs several times (i.e. leave dinner and food to get cold). Very annoying. Most people come in fancy dresses and take multiple instagram shots when entering or of their food. So it seems a bit like some hipster place. The location itself (the garden) is nice but nothing special. The main road and a highway are very close and they thus turn up the (pretty terrible pop melange) music to avoid noises from outside. In the end it was way too expensive for what you get. If you want good Aegean food, you find many places in Urla that are less expensive and if you seek truly special experiences, invest a bit more and check...
Read moreMichelin recommeded restaurant. The ambiance is really cool. Little fire pits outside in the winter. Inside the restaurant is peaceful and we are warmly welcomed. My cousin is regular at this restaurant so we were lucky to be served by the favorite dishes. My favorite was Şevketibostan (a type of wild Mediterranean herb, also known as Golden Thistle) it was greatly served olive oil based. One of the other signature dishes of the restaurant is olive oil based too. Grape Leaves stuffed with rice and sour cherries ( Traditional Turkish dish interpreted slightly different from the original recipe by the chef ) I loved it. Turkish style thinly sliced and fried live served over delicious hummus, it was great. Also pizzeria roast beef with rosemary was really delicious. Context of the servings were really good, reminds you that restaurant really deserves Michelin recommendations....
Read moreA very very lovely place for dinner. I went with my fiancé and her family and it was perfect for the occasion. We had 2 of the pizzas and 2 pasta dishes (however there was plenty of other non-Italian dishes available). All the food was delightful, especially the pizza. Dessert was spectacular, and there was good wine to accompany. The setting is lovely, well decorated and calming. The staff were very hospitable and attentive! Good to note that the menu changes often, based on what produce is available locally.
It is a little out the way, and quite close to a highway which I imagine on a more unfortunate occasion could be noisy. Prices are a little more expensive compared to other eateries, however they are cheaper than alternate fine dining options in Urla. I would...
